Chapter 64: “Upcoming events”
"Lego-san you finally wake up!" exclaimed Ralph excitedly as he headed towards Lego.
Yosano stopped him at the last moment, "Be careful it's a patient who just came back from death's door!" said Yosano with a frown.
"Yeah... I'm sorry" said Ralph with fear.
"What happened, where are the marines that attacked us, Did Olivia and the others manage to escape?" asked Lego quickly without understanding anything.
'He remembers nothing...' thought Yamamoto, although it was normal since he had gone into a kind of coma, it was very surprising that Yosano's ability heal him so fast.
Ralph patiently spent several minutes telling him everything that happened since he went into a coma.
"So I almost died..." said Lego in a low tone very surprised.
"Thanks for saving me Kuma" added Lego looking at Kuma. Ralph had told him about how he was the one who saved him.
Kuma nodded with a slight smile, glad that Lego had finally woken up.
"You too thank you very much, if it wasn't thanks for you I would still be in a coma" Lego said looking at Yosano.
"It's nothing. You should thank him Great Fire Demon who agreed to heal a marine" said Yosano with admiration towards Yamamoto.
Yosano learned about the Marine past of Lego, Ralph, and the other ex-Marines.
"I didn't do anything. I have to thank you for giving your life to save Olvia and Roche" Yamamoto said.
"I did what I had to do, you in the first place let us atone for our sins by following Nelson" said Lego who still did not feel he was guilt-free for all the acts he performed at Nelson's command.
"What you, Ralph, and the others have shown is to be admired. I will give you the option to return to your home island and reunite with your families" said Yamamoto scratching his beard.
"What seriously!?" exclaimed Ralph and Lego at the same time.
Both of them and even their fellow ex-Marines had not seen their families for more than a month. As for Ralph and the other young men mostly it was their parents and siblings, but Lego had a wife and a young son, so his desire to see them again was greater.
"But... How will we get there? Is it a Marine base and they must be looking for you like crazy" asked Lego.
"I have my methods to stay undetected. I'll give them a few days to figure out what you'll do, they know where to look for me" said Yamamoto as he left the room and headed home.
Lego nodded he had a lot of things to think about after returning from the dead.
"Let the sick man rest!" said Yosano as she shooed everyone out of the room, then grabbed her purse and backpack and closed the door.
A large number of people came out of Clover's house. Almost all of the current inhabitants of Warship Island were gathered.
"Yosano thank you so much for saving Lego!" said Ralph approaching Yosano.
"I did what a doctor would do, but... you're welcome" replied Yosano as she played with her hair, although she didn't show it she was glad that everyone appreciated her medical skills, even though all the work was done by her devil fruit power.
Ralph seeing Yosano's face blushed and quickly looked away.
"By the way, which one will be my house?" asked Yosano without directing the question to a particular person.
Yamamoto began to think, that there were no free houses anymore since Dragon, Tesoro, and the others arrived. Even the ex-Marines use the buster call ship as a home. There was no choice but for Yosano to share a house with someone.
"Our house has a room that is empty, you can stay with us" said Hocha offering Yosano lodging.
"Ours?" asked Yosano hesitantly.
"My grandfather Yamamoto's and mine" replied Hocha.
"I accept!" replied Yosano quickly upon hearing that she would be sharing a house with her idol.
Yamamoto didn't want to share a house with this crazy girl, but he couldn't refuse her since she was his first fan, "Come on, I'll show you the house".
Yamamoto, Hocha, and Yosano arrived at the house. Hocha took it upon himself to show her room, "It's much bigger than the bald guy's pigsty" nodded Yosano satisfied remembering her old house.
Hocha smiled without understanding what she was referring to. Yamamoto went to his room, took out a book and a pen, and began to think.
His two current goals were to get more normal people to follow him, to increase the monthly merit points and then to get powerful people who can take over the position of division captain.
In this way, he would manage to complete the secondary mission and increase the strength of the revolutionary army which was very important to face the Marine and the World Government.
Yamamoto started to think about who could be the best candidate for the position of division captain. Currently, they have 5 captains, counting him and Dragon.
There are 8 vacancies available, one of which is for Tesoro. Yamamoto is convinced that Tesoro can reach that level of strength in 2 years as long as he trains him. So there are 7 vacancies.
The first person who came to his mind for the position of captain was Sabo, who was ranked No. 2 in the original Revolutionary Army. The problem was that, if Yamamoto didn't do the math wrong, Sabo should have 1 year.
It was still too early to recruit him and he could not wait that long. The case of Ace or people of the same age also ruled them out, it would be hard for Ace to want to join the Revolutionary Army when he likes freedom so much.
Besides, he needed already developed people, he couldn't have an 8 year old like Robin or Apis as they too would take maybe 10 years to reach a Vice Admiral's level of strength at best.

Zephyr and Kuzan came to mind who are still in the marine and Yamamoto already had a confrontation with them. He knows that in the future both of them will leave the marine, on the one hand, Zephyr creates the neomarines and Kuzan joins the blackbeard pirates.

The biggest problem will be that when he faces Zephyr he will have to show a strength that will overcome him and his current strength is far from that.
He knew that by leaving Kizaru alive, he left a good impression on Zephyr. Same with Kuzan who in the original story saved Robin and is always questioning if he is doing good by following the marine's orders.
Another person that came to mind was Fujitora, the problem was that he remembers absolutely nothing of his past. If he remembers correctly they never explained his past, so knowing where he might be is very difficult.
He also remembered the commanders of the original revolutionary army, he remembered that there was a violet-haired woman, a bald man, a giant, and some kind of strange animal.
'Those people I'll leave to Dragon, I don't even remember their names' thought Yamamoto shaking his head.
Yamamoto put aside the task of finding people suitable for the title of division captain and moved on to his other objective. Unfortunate events that he can interfere with.
This way he will earn merit points by saving people and then getting them to follow him.
