Chapter 34: Ready to Fight

"Just so you know, the Golden Gate Pack has been completely surrounded by strong Betas and Gammas on the orders of the Supreme Commander. If you even think about making a move, you'll find yourself locked up in a dungeon!" Aria barked and I immediately ended the communication on the intercom.

I grabbed Jordan's smartwatch, which controlled his phone. It was a state-of-the-art device, but unfortunately, I couldn't use it to call for help.

Suddenly, Jordan's phone began to ring. I lifted the smartwatch to my ear in the same manner Jordan used to do.

"Good morning," a booming voice echoed from the phone, which was resting on the table.

"G…good morning," I managed to respond, my voice trembling.

"Thalia, this is Stan Morgan," the voice continued in a cold tone, causing my heart to skip a beat. I didn't know why his voice sounded so familiar as though I had met him in the past.
