Valerian

Hated to admit it but being the son of the Sanctuary's prime minister and leading research scientist Valerian had its perks. The scientists and wardens who happened to bump into him didn't seem to question why he was covered in blood or why there was a heap of dead bodies on the floor.

Valerian carried an air of power as he passed the hallways. His mouth was pressed into his usual scowl and his thick eyebrows knotted together. It was the same air of power his father carried. The same air of power he was born with. 

Valerian had always been different since birth. He was designed to be different after all. He was born to be perfect, the perfect son, the perfect pawn, the perfect weapon. It had taught him how to turn himself to ice so that no emotion could seep through. How to lock his emotions up deep inside him and never let them out.
