Chapter 11: The Great Naval Massacre
Central Calendar year 1639, April 6th, Port of Myhak,Night
In response to the 4,400-ship fleet dispatched by the Kingdom of Lauria, at the naval base in Myhak's port, Kua Toine's 2nd fleet was finally sending off its warships. Each ship folded its sails and gathered in the port. Sailors double-checked the ladders they would be using to board enemy ships.The new ships were 30 guns of the lines ships that were newly built,they were faster,stronger and more powerful than anything they ever saw(German ships were still leagues away).In total, there were about 40 ships.
"Isn't this a magnificent sight..." Admiral Pancarre murmured to himself while watching the sea. "But they've got more than 4000 ships... I wonder how many men I can keep alive..."
He chided himself for voicing his true thoughts. There was no sense in giving up early, even in the face of impossible odds.
"Admiral, we've received a message from the Docks," reported executive officer Breweye.
"Read it."
"Yes sir!
Just now,Our flagship SMS Bismarck and the SMS Jade docked in your Port,in 2 hours we shall leave to attack Lauria. They request an observer to join them and witness the Battle with the Kingdom of Lauria.
End message."
"What?! Only 2 ships?! Are you sure there isn't some mistake? Shouldn't it be 20 or 200?"
"There were no mistakes, sir."
"I appreciate that they will attack first, but... they want an observer? If they only have 2 ships, I'm just sending that person to die with them! They're clearly off their rocker or have some trick up their sleeves. I can't possibly send one of my subordinates over!"
There was an awkward silence.
"...then send me," Breweye stated.
"But..."
"I'm the best fighter you've got, so I've got the best chance of surviving out of all your officers. But you forget, that monster of a ship was from Germany,that SMS Bismarck is the same that arrived from port so many weeks ago. Maybe they're not as crazy as you think."
"I'm sorry... I'll leave it to you."
"Yes sir!"
1 Hour Later at the Docks
Breweye could not believe his eyes. The size of the 2 ships was completely beyond his common sense. When they had first established contact with Germany,he saw a ship 10Km away from port,it was Huge,he estimate it to be 100 meters long,but he thought He was exaggerating himself. But now,with the ships right in front of him,they were ridiculously huge,so big that he could not see the entire ship.They didn't even have sails.After a while he went inside to meet with the captain.
As he walked to the bridge he was amazed by the size of the ship,with this much room they could have thousands of men to board the enemy,Breweye considered the Battleship based on his own combat sense.

With the ability to launch up to 8 800KG shells simultaneously, the Bismarck-class was the largest Battleship in the Imperial German Navy.He believed it was large enough to house well over 20 000 men.But wait...Was it...made out iron? How did it float in the sea? Breweye's questions were endless. He went inside the Captain's room. It was... very bright inside. Was something being burned? Or did they use light magic? Was the entire ship run with magic?
Breweye then saw the captain,he was normal height had a large beard and had many medals,he was writing into a Book when Breweye came in.As he saw him come in he put down his book.
"I'm Captain Ludwig."
"Observer from the Principality of Kua Toine, Second Navy, my name is Breweye. We are grateful for your assistance in this endeavor."
"No problem,Now to To jump right in, we've determined the location of the enemy force's ships. They're about 500 kilometers west of our position. They are currently moving slowly, at a speed of 5 knots. We will depart right now and engage them at their position.Once there, we will rain hell on for them and sink as many ships as we can. So, until then, please be at ease."
Breweye was astonished—they planned to take on the entire fleet of 4,400 ships alone, without cooperating with the Kua Toinan navy! Their ships were clearly enormous and could accommodate countless raiders, but, with only 2 ships, it was still suicidal to go up against such a huge number. He was also wary of the fact that he saw no ballistae or ways to defend against fire arrows.
33 minutes later
The 2 ships set off from the port.
Breweye was stunned.
(How many times am I supposed to feel like this?! It's like I'm permanently in a state of shock!)
These ships were so fast! They were currently moving faster than a Kua Toinan ship's top speed. Aside from that...the other ship was pretty far away,like really far back,he could almost not see it if it wasn't for the lights.Wouldn't it be better to stay in close formation? The Next day around 8am they could finally see the Laurian fleet.They had traveled west at a speed of 24 knots.A speed that Breweye had never seen before for any ship.The Bismarck was about to destroy the enmy fleet.

Ships crawled forward over the vast ocean, their sails billowed with wind. Numbering 4,400, crewed by multiple times as many sailors who would later become the landing party, they were heading for the commercial city of Myhak.
'The only things in sight were ships.' Or... 'the sea had been completely covered in ships.' Perhaps that was a better way to express it.
After spending 6 years preparing, along with the assistance of the Papaldia Empire, their great fleet was finally complete. No force on Rodenius could stop it. In fact, they could even challenge Papaldia with this fleet! His ambitions began to run wild. But then, cold logic reined in his delusions of grandeur. He remembered that Papaldia had a weapon called a "gunboat" that was rumored to specifically combat enemy ships... It was still too dangerous to challenge one of the Third Civilization's superpowers. Schaukun gazed out at the ocean to the east... hm? Something was coming towards them.It was about 36Km away,As he looked at the weird shape,He saw the 'Thing' be engulfed in smokes.
''Huh? What is happening?''Schaukun
Ngiiiing, sound like whistle then Duaaaar
8 Massive Explosions rocked the front of his Fleet,chucks of human flesh began to rain down on the rest of the fleet,the bruning wrecks were so small,you could not tell it was a ship anymore.In one volley the SMS Bismarck claimed 88 ships.Admiral Schaukan looked horrified
"What?! What the hell happened?! Were we attacked from that distance?! What even is that?!"
Having never experienced this level of firepower before, everyone was flabbergasted.
"This isn't good! But...we're in wyvern range.Communications! Request wyvern assistance! We've engaged some mysterious enemy!"
As he said this he looked at the 'enemy' and sighed,thank god it took time to reload that powerful magic attack,But as he did think that,The Bismarck fired again,at a range of 35.4Km the 8 shells once more landed in the fleet,sinking another 100 ships,Schaukan hoped that they would sink the enemy quickly
At the Wyvern headquarters of lauria
"Communications from the eastern subjugation navy, sir. They believe they have engaged with the enemy flagship and are requesting air support."
"Oho, the enemy's flagship... Request granted. Send 350 fully-equipped wyverns."
"B-But sir... the advance force already took 150 wyverns, we won't have enough to send with the main force..."
"Were my orders unclear? Send them. If they're fighting the enemy's flagship, there will be a big battle. They'll have time between now and when our main force mobilizes."
"Understood, sir."
Wyverns, one after another, flew up into the sky.As they did another officer asked his friend
''hey do you know what happen to our southern regions? I can't contact them at all,they are dead silent''he said
''Damn! they must have revolted once more,after Kua Toine falls we will make them suffer so badly they wished they died''said the friend
No one in lauria Knew that the Germans were sweeping across their lands,By this time army group south had reached just 25Km from the capital where they stooped to wait for their tanks. Lauria was going to die and they had no idea

The Tigers were almost at the Capital,in 4 hours they would arrive,Guderian looked at the crude map his driver made,as he looked at the map the driver was putting red dots in various places. he Red dots symbolized a Placed hit with bombs,by now well over 800 places were hit by the Bombers and Dive bombers,over 233 000 people were killed,Guderian felt like this would hinder their progress.Sure it's war but if the land can't be used after the War then what good can it be. Bock shared the same views and grounded the Air force until the were at the Capital. As the 2 men looked at the map,the driver had a look of confusion.
''Hey Marshal,Look at this''the driver said''this fort,8Km from us was suppose to be hit,But from what the map says it was not hit once,if we don't take it it can cause some problems for us in the future''
''Your right,Get the tanks to split into 4 parts,2 will go left and right to the capital,one will go to Gim as plan last night and this one will take this Fort by storm''Guderian said
''Yes sir!''the Driver said as he left to inform of the new changes
As they then went on with the mission,Guderian would pummel the Fort to dust,despite the stubborn resistance It was futile,nothing remained for the survivors,all 117 men that lived that hell were shot by the Germans in a mass execution,It was not because they viewed them as inferior or because they wanted to kill them it was because after they were captured,all insulted their nation calling a uncivilized nation worthy of death.So in Rage many young German shot the Captives.
Guderian just forced those men on harsh duties for the rest of the war,As he really didn't care what happen to the POWs as long as it was not 'against' the Geneva.
