Chapter 179: "Agreement"

After the two of them got into the car laughing, they drove to the church where Maggie often went. 

Holding the fruits, Alla followed Maggie step by step into the church with utmost devotion. In front of the statue of Jesus, she clasped her hands and bowed her head in prayer. Tears streamed down her cheeks, seemingly revealing the depths of her sorrow. With no other outlet for her pain, she could only seek a moment of tranquility here...

Seeing Maggie praying devoutly, Alla got up and walked into the confessional. 

Alla: "I owe so much debt, I don't know how to pay it off, I may live my life with guilt..."

Priest: "You can pour out to the Lord. The Lord will forgive you, my child."

Alla didn't speak again, she untied the red ribbon on her body and wrote down her wishes: 

One wish, for Maggie's safety; 

Second wish, for Ricky's health;
