Chapter 163: Mr. Davies, Have You Given Up?

Casiano squinted slightly, looking dazed, but his mind was clear. He knew that the person who had arrived was Eileen Weston, and that she would try to stop him, but he said nothing, continuing to drink his wine.

Eileen snatched the wine glass away from him, her face cold as she said, "Mr. Davies, if you keep this up, not even God can save you."

Casiano remained silent, seemingly disdainful of speaking. His slender fingers reached for another glass.

Seeing his stubbornness, Eileen's beautiful eyebrows knotted together, "Mr. Davies, Ms. Barton is still alive. You should pull yourself together, win her back, instead of resorting to excessive drinking like before. This is not the Mr. Davies I know."

The man she used to know was so aloof, cold and distinguished, like an untouchable star in the sky. But the man in front of her now seemed to have lost all will to live, his eyes dim, as if devoid of any hope.
