As Chris shed his tears for his uncle, whom he respected and looked up to once in his life, Alaric started breathing hard.

"Christopher, please save my daughter. Promise me that you will look for her and will not leave her in the hands of Yvonne. Please promise me that you will not abandon my daughter," Alaric pleaded as he tried to catch his breath.

Elsa could not hold much longer and tried to heal him even though some healers already tried to before they arrived there. However, Alaric stopped her.

"Don't waste your mana on me. I am a lost case. The amount of silver in my body cannot be healed anymore. There's no cure."
