Chapter 9: There is no bond greater than two people who hate the same person.

Can I had poison instead of sugar?

I'm adding a lump of sugar while stirring the sweet, in the pot. as one of the rituals and customs after the marriage. a new bride should cook a sweet dish, my dear mother-in-law had asked me to prepare for my sweet husband and his family. I would have served poison to them happily, but they don't deserve such a simple and easy death.

"I think you should add some more sugar, Eesha." I snapped my head from where the smooth and sweet voice had come. Mrs. Divya Adarsh Mehta, walked inside the kitchen giving a bright smile, her sand body tone shined in light green ankle-length frock with a formal design but the waistband highlighted her waist, showing her perfect hourglass figure.

"But I prefer low sugar, I hate which is too sweet." I like savory dishes more than sweet ones. "You added too less, It would be bland. Akash prefers more high contained sugar desserts." I would care less if it would be bland and flavorless. "I don't care what he prefers. tell me what do you prefer to eat? Bhabhi."I asked her > if I will add sugar if she prefer more< >shut up< I snapped at my subconscious.

"I would be glad if you keep it bland, but that old witch and that bitch will taunt you." I will see how can they taunt. "Yet I had prepared sweet according to them, they taunted me." Meera pouted disheartened, she wear a mustard yellow Anarkali which suited her skin tone well. "If people have a pleasant heart, they will praise you even if you serve a terrible dish," I said While tasting a spoonful of sweets. It's bland, what matters is I loved it.

"You shouldn't taste before serving, Eesha." Meera commented "If you're not tasting, you're not cooking. I never serve without tasting." I said while dishing out the sweet in-serving bowls. we followed the waiter you pushin1g the serving trolley, towards the dining area.

The head of the table was occupied by Grandma Anya and her left side was occupied by Ashwin Mehta and Yamini Mehta. The right side is occupied by my mother-in-law. my husband sitting leaving one chair beside his mother, while Adarsh was sitting facing in front of Akash. Arjun was sitting beside my husband. Divya had occupied the place between the Yamini and Adarsh, while Meera sat beside her husband.

Can I sit beside the Meera? Mrs.Mehta signaled to sit beside her. I made my way towards her and sat beside her. The dining table had every single Item from salad to parathas and green juice to milkshakes. everyone started to eat according to their choices, I'm had taken Aloo Parathas applying butter. I had taken a bite and clenched my jaw. I started to blow air to smoothen the pain on my lips. I started to eat making sure it don't touch my lower lip. I heard a chuckle from my left. I will kill that bas**** one day.

"Why is it bland? you don't know how to prepare a sweet?" Mrs. Anya Mehta yelled Because I didn't add an enough sugar in it. "Aunty, you're sugar levels had increased, so I asked her to make it mild." Mrs. Mehta defended me, I rolled my eyes, Why should I even justify it? I had made sweet according to my likes. "she should have prepared separately, to her? Instead of making it flavorless and bland." Can't she stop talking?

"But I prefer to eat mildly and bland Mrs.Mehta. If it is not luscious then it's not even terrible to eat." I said while stuffing my sweet. It tastes delicious to me."Even her husband like to have highly contained sugar." She taunts me. can't she shut her mouth at least while eating?

"Yamini, Why don't you ask Akash? It's not terrible as she said." what a sweet mother-in-law I got. She gives a hard look to Akash daring him to say otherwise.

I and Mrs. Mehta had the unique and undeniable strength that exists in the bond between two people who share a mutual dislike for someone. It is a connection that goes beyond a mere friendship or common interests. In these instances, the negative emotions towards the same person act as a catalyst, fostering a deep sense of understanding and camaraderie between these two individuals.

This shared animosity creates a powerful bond, built on a foundation of empathy and validation. we find solace in each other's company, as they can freely express our frustrations and grievances, knowing they will be met with understanding and support. This bond not only strengthens resolve but also creates a sense of unity and solidarity against the person they both dislike.

It becomes a formidable force, empowering us to navigate through the challenges and obstacles that come their way, knowing we have each other's back.

"It would be great if she added a lump of sugar. at least It's edible to eat Mom." I give him a cold look. "Akash you should get habituat to eat such a delicious sweet. Maybe It's bland but it has flavor. It's quite delicious." Arjun remarked. "At least someone had good-tasting sense." I appreciated him, It takes a lot to point out their opinion when people are against it.

"Can't you hold your tongue for some time?" Akash yelled, when grandma, uncle, aunt, and my mother-in-law left, leaving us alone. "If you and them don't have the sense to taste. so you will point a mistake in a person who cooks it." I said While eating my second bowl of my sweet.

"You in delusion, that whatever you cook, It will be delicious." He taunted. "what ever I cook it should be delicious, if you can't find it delicious, then you have a terrible sense of tasting. I had done diploma in culinary arts." I said. "so you're a chief." I laughed when Divya asked with her shining eyes.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I had a master's degree in LLB. post-graduation in MSc criminology and criminal physiology from Harvard University." I heard a few coughs, It's not my problem My father and husband are well-known criminals underground.

"Your what?" Akash asked me, "Whatever I uttered and you listened Akash?" they looked horrified and startled. "Don't give me those looks, especially you Akash. Don't you get suspicious when I accused you as criminal? I don't think a normal woman can know about your dark activities." I questioned him,

"I don't even know your name?." what a fool he thinks I'm? even after marrying me he doesn't know my name. "Eesha." That's what he needs to know for now. "Eesha I'm asking your surname." It's where the whole problem arises.
