Chapter 108: Fix a deal

"Hey," Evangeline said on the call.

"Hello to you too, Evangeline. James told me you would be calling. You took your time. How can I help you on this good day?"

Evangeline heard the man speaking, and she smiled at his joyous accent.

"I want you to look into a few things. Let me be clear, some people have tormented me in the past, and I want to know who they were linked to. It happened around four years ago. Will you be able to scout information?" Evangeline asked.

This was the number that Evangeline had asked James to extort after she promised him that she would return to her brother in one month whether her revenge went well or not.

The first two episodes of her drama were to air in ten days too so it would get hard either way since they would already know she was in the country.

The first person they would come after was James because he had taken her responsibility when her brother had gotten angry at her four years ago.
