Chapter 120: Unreciprocated feelings

Luciana could feel the deep emotions that were coming from him. His regret was palpable, clouding him like a second skin. His love for her, the sincerity in his voice cut so deep and she felt it in her heart. She felt butterflies go loose in her stomach, and her heart did a little flip. This was the first time he confessed to her.

"Raziel." She drew close to him. "I agree with you. You hurt me. These past few days, you have made me follow you and struggle to keep you in check, you made me so scared, and all that occupied my head and heart was the fear of losing you forever. It was funny, it wasn't easy."

She looked into his eyes and was surprised to see the deep sadness and guilt they held, it made her heart clench.

"I am sorry, Lucy."

"Raziel," He answered her with a hum. "All these happened within a few days when your body was undergoing the biggest change you have ever experienced. I would be surprised if you weren't affected."
