Chapter 100: Urges and desires

Luciana and Raziel's alone time was cut short when the members of the king's council arrived the castle.

The members were already seated around a large and long rectangular table in the throne room, when Raziel and Luciana entered, hand in hand. There were murmurs before they entered, but it died down as they were spotted.

Raziel led Luciana to sit on a chair at one end of the table, while he sat on the other. The people didn't fail to notice the air around them. It was as if they found peace in each other. It was obvious that they would rather be on their own at that moment.

When Raziel sat down, it was quiet for a while before he eventually started.

"It was brought to my notice that you had something crucial to discuss with me and the queen, may I know what it is?"
