Chapter 41: A war coming

"How are you sure it was the people of Kazeera that sneaked into the castle and killed the king. And why would you even blame them? Not like they have anything against our kingdom." One man who was a Marque stood up to say. "And your majesty, don't you think it is wrong to sit on the king's throne when he just died?"

"I know it was them as they would want to avenge their king that is held hostage by us." Evelyn replied the marque in anger. "And the ruler of the kingdom just died. The kingdom would not be left without a head. I choose to step in."

"The king of Kazeera is held hostage? For what reason?" Another person spoke up, seemingly not pleased with the information. "And your majesty, that is not how a new ruler is chosen."
