Chapter 205: The Demon Slayer Corps
The Demon Slayers, an elite group of swordsmen and women who's sole job is to protect Japan and its citizens from the threat of Demons and their King, Kibutsuji Muzan.
And unsurprisingly the morning after saving Kanae a messenger crow came telling Shinobu to bring us along to the main HQ.
"Well we can't leave Kanae unattended and only Mikan and Florence have the know how to operate that device currently hooked up to your sister, while not complicated if not used right it could possibly be fatal to her." I say after hearing the messenger crows call for us to go to HQ.
"What?! You mean that tube can some how kill Kanae?" Shinobu exclaimed in shock.
"He's right, if not done properly when the packages are changed out and looked over an air bubble can get into the veins and lead to an air embolism, or more specifically an air bubble that block blood flow through the body and if it reaches the heart or brain it can become lethal as well." Mikan said explaining the downsides of improper IV use can do to a person.
"On that note they shall stay here where as me and Serenity will come along with you to your Headquarters at what I assume to be your leaders request." I say to which Serenity appears nearby.
"I shall follow master to wherever I am needed." Serenity said with a short nod as I look back towards.
"There you have it, so lead the way there." I say to which she nodded as well before we began to make the trip towards Demon Slayer HQ.

(N) Remember this all takes place 3 years prior to the main stories start so everyone is younger than their cannon counterparts but to keep it simple they don't look too different than their cannon selves excluding Shinobu since she had a whole different look than her version at the beginning of the story of course, also Muichiro and Giyu aren't currently here as they haven't become Hashira at this point compared to everyone else.
"So some foreign healers saved Kanae huh? I wonder who she must have fought to be brought that close to deaths door?" Kanroji Mitsuri(16) said as she looked up towards the clouds as she held her chin in thought.
"While I respect Kagaya-sama for leading the Demon Slayers, I do question why he would allow those from outside the Demon Slayers to be allowed to even come to HQ, less so being allowed to stay at the Butterfly Manor." Iguro Obanai(19) said back to Mitsuri as he gave her a side glance look before looking away.
'What am I thinking? With my blood flowing through me? No that's something for the next life of course….' He internally thought to himself as he quelled these budding thoughts of romantic feelings in his head as he remembered his dark history and everything his bloodline has done for the Demons before they were ultimately destroyed but still feeling the weight of his family's sins holding him down.
"Damn Kanae! Why did you get so lucky huh?! You got to fight an Upper Moon and lived! When will I get my chance huh?!" Sanemi Shinazugawa(19) muttered as he ground his teeth as one his major desires to fight an Upper Moon himself.
"An Upper Moon? Did Kagaya-sama say that to you Sanemi?" Mitsuri asked as she looked at her hot blooded senior.
"It has to be! I mean you seriously think any normal demon could get the jump on a Hashira huh?!" He said but if you read between the lines he didn't know who she fought and assumed it had to have been a Upper Moon.
"If you don't know then why don't you keep your big mouth shut?" Obanai scoffed which pissed Sanemi off.
"Ahh?! The fuck was that snake? I couldn't quite hear you, sounded like your trying to pick a fight with me?!" He said getting all pissed as they began to get in each others faces before a large shadow blocked out the sun as the felt a hand on both of their shoulders.
"Please…. I do not wish to see my comrades squabbling over our petty differences…." Gyomei Himejima(24) sad with his characteristic sad look as tears were flowing down from his eyes as he is truly saddened by internal conflict between Hashira.
"Tch."(x2) they both click their tongues before turning away from each other only to hear a laugh from nearby.
"Hahaha! Ahh you two never change do you? But that's just what makes you who you are right?" Kyojuro Rengoku(17) laughed at the sight of the fight between his two comrades as they tend to get at each others throats plenty of times.
"I couldn't agree more, personally I would have enjoyed seeing those two Duking it out with one another, it would be very flashy." Tengen Uzui(20) couldn't help but nod at what Rengoku said.
"My, it seems everyone has finally arrived." Kagaya said as he appeared out in the courtyard to which everyone stopped messing around at stood at attention.
"Be at ease my Hashira, it seems good fortune has saved one of our Hashira's lives in her desperate time of need, it would have been devastating to our organization if we lost even one of our Hashira now." He said before taking a seat on a provided cushion seiza style while the rest did the same.
"On that note I would like to personally thank them for saving Kanae in her time of need, and not just wanting them to meet you but also for the fact they are possibly a chance to help us bring us closer to ending the war with the demons, yes Mitsuri?" Kagaya said as he looked at Mitsuri raised her hand.
"Close to ending the war Oyakata-sama? But aren't these people just healers from what I have been told?" She said seeming a bit confused as to why they should get such a reception as this.
"I can understand why that would confuse you, well luckily for you the messenger crow had more to relay to me than just that, for one thing it seems their leader has some extraordinary power that allowed him to save Kanae's life but that's not the only thing as really the next thing is the most important thing of note from the report handed to me." He said with a nod and a serious look in his eyes to which made them take what he was about to say seriously as well.
"Their Leader, a man by the Name of Hifumi Yamada, is in fact not human either, but he is something else entirely as he is no demon either." He said which shocked the Hashira making Sanemi to jump from his seat.
"Oyakata-sama! You can't be seriously thinking about bringing some unknown monster into our-" he said but stopped as Kagaya held up his hand.
"I know, it is hard to take in and we are a group that Hunts down demons no matter what, but at the same time not only did he save Kanae and reveal he is a monster, even if it was for a joke, he still could possibly be an advantage to our fight against the demons." He said before putting his hand down as Sanemi reluctantly sat back down after hearing what Kagaya said.
"I will admit I had knowledge of other beings outside our own lands, but as the demon crisis is still too much of a pressing issue I had no need to discuss it with the rest of you, but with one coming here getting his aid could be beneficial to us overall." While Kagaya said this, he wasn't certain how strong this man was but he had this gut feeling that this man, Hifumi Yamada is his name, has the power to change the tides and save Japan from this Crisis that has been going on for over one thousand years now.
"My, what I high opinion of me you have Kagaya Ubuyashiki, though I wonder, why is it you have such a high opinion of me?" They all suddenly heard the voice of an unfamiliar man causing the Hashira to stand and ready there blades.
"Hmm, Let's say it's a gut instinct I have of you Yamada-san." Kagaya said to which he heard a chuckle in response.
"Hehe, a gut instinct huh? Your more interesting than I thought." They heard the voice said before their eyes widened as their leaders shadow moved towards his side before pulling itself upward and taking on the form of a humanoid being before the shadows fading to reveal a rather handsome looking man underneath as he sat right next to Kagaya in a legs crossed position as he leaned on his hand to turn and look at him.
"Now then, to what do I owe the pleasure of the Leader of the Demon Slayers asking for my aid." He said with a smile on his face, completely ignoring the fact that he was now surrounded by every Hashira there with their blades ready to strike.
Both Hifumi and Kagaya stared at each other for a moment as if to get a gauge on each other until Kagaya slowly sighed and closed his eyes, "Put your weapons away."
"But-"
"That's an Order, I have a very good read on people, and as it stands, if he was even remotely serious he could harm and kill us all without giving us the chance to fight back." He said to which the others were shocked to hear making Hifumi grin as he rubbed his chin.
"You know, I'm liking you more and more Kagaya, so tell me, how can I be of service?"
And on this day it would later be known as a major Turning point for the Demon Slayers on their eternal war on Demon Kind.
