Chapter 176: Hello Johnny Silverhand
A few weeks after the Heist Gig in Konpeki Plaza, I was sitting up in my office going over the various reports with Scanty.
"Final reports are saying that the transition from the old net and the new net is going smoothly and should be completed within the year as the final ties with the old net are cut off for good." She said as she straightened out her glasses.
"Good, soon enough this world won't have to fear an end from an rogue AI apocalypse now, anything else?" I said while I kept typing on my computer at a rapid pace.
"Jackie Welles has almost completely recovered from the botched Heist Gig, he will be released from our care soon enough."
"Good, have some men keep watch over his place and the El Coyote as Arasaka might come after him, speaking of which is Yorinobu still adamant about breaking the deal with our company?" I ask as I look up from my computer and towards her.
"Yes, it seems Yorinobu is doing everything he can to destroy his fathers company, though I still don't understand why he would do that in the first place, why bite the hand that gave you the golden spoon in the first place?" Scanty said confused as to why he's doing all of this.
"Because my sweet Scanty is that his father had always planned to take over his body so he could live for another hundred more years as a result with the help of the Relic and Soul Killer to lay claim to his sons body, and that's why he killed his father." I say after I had seen what Jackie saw as he was their personally when they hard jacked him when he was being patched up.
A breech of privacy sure but it allowed me to actually see what happened first hand, making sure that everything I remembered from the game was still canon in this world, and besides changing out who set up the Hiest gig everything else stayed exactly the same even with us contacting Evelyn Parker as a proxy between us, though she did try to fuck us over but unlike the VooDooBoys in the orginal we didn't do anything to mess with her to make her life a living hell as a result.
"But that shouldn't be enough reason for him to destroy everything his family-" But I cut her off.
"Nono, the company is Saburo's and only Saburo's Legacy, his father may have laid the foundations for the Arasaka company to be born but it was Saburo himself that made the company what it is today, and since Yorinobu sees the company and all that it entails as his father's legacy then of course he would do whatever her could to destroy it." I explain to her.
"But unfortunately he decided to make enemies with the wrong Company, so we will bring a war to their doorstep and annihilate Arasaka once and for all as a result." I had already forced decommissioned their titans that they had by destroying their cores that our company had full control over, now I only need some obstacles removed and the AWG will become this worlds greatest mega corporation in the process.
Not to mention I've gotten into the several billions of SP now and at this point I could purchase low tier divine grade items from the shop but if I really wanted something at the most powerful of things in the entire multiverse/Omniverse would cost into the hundreds of trillions of SP points but I don't think I'd get anywhere close to that, but there was something I had my eye on but I'll wait until me and Hifumi are whole again before I decide to go through with that expensive purchase.
"I understand, then it shall be done, but on another note we have recieved a call from the Ripper Doc Vic Vector, it appears V is now fully conscious but if nothing is done soon he shall be dead within the month." Scanty said laying down the news of V's awakening.
"Good, I shall get in contact with him tomorrow and hopefully he is willing to come and discuss thing with us, and possibly soon enough we shall have another ally on our side." I say as I smoke from my cigar as now all we had to do is wait.

(V's Pov)
The next day I had to crawl over to my shower and just sit in my underwear while the throbbing in my head was killing me.
It didn't help that the terrorist and Rockerboy Johnny Silverhand was now in my fucking head and not only that but his consciousness is overwriting mine and soon I won't even be me anymore and he will take control of my body for himself.
"There's got to be some way to fix this…." I mutter to myself as I slowly pull myself up and out of the shower as I pull off my soaked boxers before wiping myself off with a towel and getting my clothes on.
Suddenly my holo lit up with the AWG symbol on it, 'the AWG? What do those guys want with me?' I think to myself before I answer the call as I sit on my couch.
"V, seems like you've seen better days, you look like shit." The person on the other side pops up and surprises me.
"What do you want Shie? Last time I remembered I don't work for the AWG anymore." I said as I looked at my former 'boss' Shie Yamada.
"The AWG Huh? Never heard of them, wasn't around in my time." I suddenly see and hear the asshole Johnny Silverhand pop up in front of me which ticks me off just seeing the prick but I ignore him as I focus back on Shie.
"And you don't, but the again that whole Konpeki Heist? All of that? It was a job for my company, what you think Mrs. Parker would pull in a job like this and give it to some low level merc like you? Besides the Blitz you and your friend Jackie haven't done anything as nearly as exciting, who by the way is nearly fully recovered from his wounds thanks to your intervention." He says to me as I feel a wave of relief washo over me.
After I woke up I asked Vic and Misty and they haven't seen or heard anything from Jackie since the job went south and I imagined the worst, but hearing my good choom was still alive and kicking made me feel much better.
"Good, that's good he's alive and getting better, but the question is why? Why did you set up that gig in the first place? With all your money and power the Relic means nothing to a company like yours at all." That's what was bugging me now as why was this all needed in the first place.
"Well your correct V, the Relic is worthless to the AWG, but it's what was on the Relic that mattered, Johnny Silverhands Engram and return getting in contact with Alt Cunningham." He said in return which made Johnny sit next to me on the couch and look at me as he heard what Shie said.
"And I also know what's happening to you, not only that but I can guess he's listening isn't he? Johnny Silverhand I got a deal for the both of you." He said as Johnny took off his sunglasses and squinted when he heard that.
"How about I give you both a second chance on life once more?"
