[Chapter —25]
Entering I found the bald one, Charles Xavier and besides him was a man I knew all too well.
[Name: James Howlett]
' The fucking wolverine, of course.' i thought as I made my way towards the chair besides the immortal man, sitting besides him I just ignored him and looked at Charles.
" Now Mr Stein's, I'm Charles Xavier, the founder and creator of this lovely institution we have here and besides you is Logan, he's a teacher of ours." Charles said.
" A pleasure to meet you Mr Xavier, as you know I'm Jericho Stein's but just call me Jericho." I said with a smile.
" Thank you for the privilege." Charles said, Logan on the other hand groaned towards me never looking at me either.
" Now Jericho since we have concluded that you're a mutant I as the headmaster of this place and one of it's protectors, I would like to offer you a home and place for your grow safe from the world as at the moment it isn't ready to welcome us yet." Charles said to me getting straight to the point.
" So you're offering me a home here is the jist of it?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
" Yes, that is what I'm offering. " Charles said once again.
" Then I have to accept" I said with a nod and smile agreeing to this wasn't that much of a big deal as I'd get free protection for a while and I'll be able to grow my skills while here.
" Excellent!" Charles said out loud with a chuckle and smile " Oh and If you don't mind Jericho I have another offer for you." Charles spoke up again getting my attention even though I could pretty much guess already what offer he'd like to offer.
" Ok, I'm listening." I said as i looked at him with an interested gaze.
"You see Jericho with the rising increase in mutant awakenings all over the world and their sudden powers has caused for large human panic all over the world, and as such has caused for us mutants to get shunned, hated and feared by the people we once had relations with, and after seeing this I had created the X-Men, a team of gifted people able to combat threats that humanity isn't able to get and become heroes for humanity in hopes that humanity could finally come to accept us and seeing as you've been recently been victim of such cruelty I am here to offer you a hand into this team of hero's so that one day you could return back into your human life without fear of being hated or hunted by those that don't understand us." Charles spoke without stopping all the while I felt his psionic aura exude a more feeling of trust and even duty try to worm into my head but I didn't do anything as my Shields in my mind took care of that, as Charles finished his monologue I was then brought out of my stupor and decided to get this over with already.
"Yeah, that's a pass for me sadly." I said getting back my aloof expression with a none expressive smile on my face.
" Urh excuse me?" Charles spoke taken aback and even Logan looked back at me with a raised eyebrow as he looked at me at the corner of his eyes.
" Yeah nah, I'm good on that superhero thing, I'm not cut out for that." I said with a shrugg getting Charles to frown even more.
"But you'd be helping the entirety of the mutant race finally gain a foothold with our own people." Charles spoke once again and even tried entering my head but my Shields held strong and repelled the mind intrusion back at him causing him to flinch a bit which didn't escape the my eyes and even Logan's.
" Yeah you see, i don't really care that much to gaining a place back with the humans that much, I mean why would I?, They hate mutants for simply existing…actually no, they don't hate mutants as much as they are jealous of most of them and to take out their frustrations they hunt us down and study us in hopes that they could become what they most hate, humans are dumb and i have no plans on helping nor joining back with them" I said with a bit of mirth at my words before I stood.
" Now if you excuse me, oh and just tell Jean to come get me for my room arrangements." I said again with a smile before I grabbed Logan's glass of alcohol and downed it even as he looked at me with murder in his eyes.
' oh finally…alcohol…I should make my own version of alcohol' i thought before I stood and started moving towards the door and opened it before stopping.
" Oh and thank you." I said with a wave before I slammed the door behind me.
*Slam!*
—3rd pov.
*Slam!*
Jericho slammed the door to the professor's office and walked away while inside a conversation started between Logan and Charles.
" He's going to be difficult…." Charles spoke with a frown as he started rubbing his temples.
" Oh come on Charles, he isn't that bad….I like him." Logan said before he started pouring himself a glass of alcohol.
" oh logan." Charles spoke with a shake of his head. " You and I both know that he'll become more a nuisance then a help and with his views on our situation, I worry he might join the other side." Charles again added.
" The brotherhood?, What makes you so sure that he'd do that?" Logan again asked.
" Well as you know Logan, my power allows me to know what people are thinking of, their views, their dreams and that helps in me finding out if they are a threat or allie." Charles said as he two poured himself a glass.
" And tell me?, What did you find in the kids mind?" Logan spoke with a frown.
" That's the problem Logan, I didn't find a single thing." Charles spoke as he gulped down his glass.
" oh? and why is that bub?" Logan asked actually interested.
" I have no idea my friend, his mind seems as if protected by something and when I try entering it with force I get feedback to my own." Charles said with a sigh.
" Heh, don't worry Charles, I'll watch over the kid." Logan spoke with a smile.
" I'd appreciate that friend." Charles said back to logan before silence reigned between the two as they drank in silence.
—MC Pov[Jericho]
Walking around the manor I had found myself in a crowded area and walking around I got some states from the mutants, mostly curiosity, intrigue and…lust?, Lust was from the female mutants and even from some questionable guys of which I steered clear from.
' God damn is this human bodies appearance really that appealing?, I haven't even looked at the mirror after my Mutation yet and he was handsome even before it when I grabbed him in the bank.' I thought as I walked aimlessly before I found myself away from any mutant and just stood Infront of an observatory of some sorts with an open roof and inside was filled with multiple plants of all kind.
Entering the thing I began looking around, breathing in the moist planty smell before I got interrupted by someone walking behind me which immediately prompted me to look back and find…a naked Ororo.
"oh?, That's some good awareness you have there." Ororo said with a sly smile.
" ….thanks." i replied with my head kinda tilted to the side just staring at her eyes and even then I could focus on her entirety of her body without problem, I kept my eyes on her face the whole time just to seem unaffected but inside.
' What in the fucking name of all that is immoral is this?' I thought actually confused and a hundred miles away from me my Nathaniel body who was busy making a dagger suddenly stiffened before he said.
" I need to get laid…" Nathaniel said with a chuckle before he went back to forging.
