Sipping coffee at the mall, hours later after leaving the office, I smiled at the mint scent that made me happy. I looked at the time on my watch and the clock ticked over to eight.
“If only you could smile at me that way,” a voice drawled above my head.
“Sit your a*s down, Killian,” I retorted.
He moved over to the seat next to me and avoided the opposite chair.
“You changed your clothes.” I stared at him in shock.
“For my boyfriend's convenience. I can't let him down by not taking care of my looks,” he smiled.
I glanced around and noted the whole art cafe was staring at Killian Ryuu. The women gasped while the men ogled. Anger simmered in my blood, and I huffed.
“Oh, has your little brain finally realized it was a bad idea to come here?”
“And you f*cking dressed knowing well that you would attract attention,” I snapped.
