Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Infiltrate

A week later, Bai walked into my office unannounced, looking irritated, and stood by my desk as I finished a call.

“What?” I mouthed.

He shook his head and whispered, “Finish with your call. This is urgent.”

I ended the call in a hurry. “Whatever has made you interrupt my call better be urgent, Bai.”

“Uncle Nemesio is here,” Bai muttered in annoyance.

“What the f*ck does he want?” I asked in surprise. He has not visited my office in a while, and I wondered what had brought him in.

“He says it's personal,” Bai huffed.

“Why do I sense trouble coming our way?” I asked.

Bai turned around and said “Be careful, Killian. I insist.” He walked out of my office and seconds later, Uncle Nemesio knocked on the door and strode in.

“Chairman Killian, I am sorry to come to see you without an appointment.” His voice was laced with sarcasm, and I had learned to ignore it.

“Uncle Nemesio, what a pleasure to see you. Please have a seat.” I gestured to the large couch in the corner of the room.

He smiled and walked over. He sat down and crossed his left leg over his knee.

I stood up and walked to the opposite couch, sat down, and leaned back. “What brings you to my office?” I questioned him. In the real sense, I wanted to say, “Why the f*ck are you here?”

“Two things. I have been waiting for an update on the Director Vance Issue. Second, is the issue of your engagement to Zoya Mio.”

To calm my anger, I stood up, walked to my desk, and pressed the intercom. “Bai, have our PA prepare two cups of coffee.” I smiled and walked back to the couch.

“You don't have to bother, Chairman Killian,” Uncle Nemesio said.

“It's no bother,” I affirmed. “On the matter regarding Director Vance, I have that under control. I will be able to give a full report next week. Daxia is already on it.”

“That's great news.” His mouth turned upward in displeasure. He expected more details, but for a man like him, the less you say the better.

“As for the matter of the engagement, I have not thought about it at all,” I replied coldly.

“What do you mean? Does the council not have an agreement?” Uncle Nemesio seethed.

“I will marry for love.”

He looked at me in shock and whispered, “Love?”

“Of course. My parents married for love. I want to do the same,” I informed him.

He looked at me as his eyes squinted at me. “You are in love?”

“No, Uncle. I am not. I just want to find the right partner,” I explained.

He laughed. “The cold-hearted Chairman Killian has a heart?”

I smirked and replied, “Surprise.”

Uncle Nemesio stood up with an indication that he was leaving. “I leave it to you to break the news to Zoya Mio.”

I nodded and he slowly walked out of my office. The minute the door closed, I heaved a loud sigh of anger.

The f*cking b*stard wanted to ruffle my feathers. He was a true monster. Every year, memories of how much he wanted to be the leader of the mafia were fresh in my mind. Bai has always suspected that he had something to do with my parent's death. How could he be so cruel as to kill his brother? Greed?

The door of the office opened, and Bai walked in. He took one look at my face and knew that the damn man had riled me up. “What the hell did he say?” Bai demanded.

“He wanted an update on Director Vance. He also brought up the matter of the engagement to Zoya Mio,” I explained.

“What? He thinks if he marries his adopted daughter to you, he will be able to control you?” Bai seethed.

“I declined the engagement,” I responded.

“Wow. Finally,” Bai smirked.

“But now I have to inform Zoya Mia about it.”

“Sh*t,” Bai cursed. “It will not be easy. Zoya Mia is crude and cunning.”

“What gave her the idea that I would be interested in her?” I asked incredulously.

“Killian, haven't you read what the magazines say? ‘New York's most eligible bachelor’. All the women and men would love to be married to you,” Bai laughed.

“I am so glad I amuse you.” I shook my head in frustration.

“What about Director Vance?” Bai asked.

“I plan to visit him this evening.”

“It's dangerous,” Bai cautioned.

“But necessary,” I responded.

“You are doing this just for you,” Bai muttered.

He was right. I planned to sneak into the CIA’s office because I wanted to see Vance Adira. Only him.

“So be ready by 5 p.m.,” I said to deflect from Bai’s insinuations.

He smiled and left the office grinning. I always valued his input and knew he had a way of calming my anger. Time flew so fast and by 5 p.m. we were already headed to the CIA offices.

Disguised as a delivery guy, Bai drove the delivery van and the security guard let us through. We went to the underground parking lot, and I alighted from the van and pushed the cap down to cover my face.

Getting on the elevator, I followed all the security checks as I carried the delivery package and got to the top floor office. The PA stopped me at the entrance to confirm the delivery package before sending me to the office with a sign written ‘Director’.

I knocked at the door and a voice responded, “Come in.”

I kept my head lowered, pretending to be shy as I walked in and announced in a hushed tone, " Delivery for the boss". There was no response for a while and when I looked up Director Vance Adira was seated with his feet up on his desk and he was glued to a book.

Clearing my throat again I repeated, " Delivery for the boss."

He finally looked up and got off his chair and walked toward me. My body froze as I stared at him. He then extended his hand and for a second I forgot why I had come. I could smell the scent of sandalwood coming from him. “Give me the package," Director Vance commanded.

His voice made me almost come in my pants. His voice sent me into a horny frenzy until I felt my body tremble. How was I going to subdue him? I had never faced such an opponent before. I did not even realize that Director Vance had already moved closer and snatched the package from my hand.

"Thank you," Director Vance said. He then placed the tip on the palm of my hand, and I felt a zap of electricity flow between us. He looked shocked and took a step back. I lowered my head, turned around, and left his office.

I walked to the elevator and pressed the buttons in a hurry. Thankfully, it opened quickly, and I entered in a hurry. Pressing the button to the floor below his office, I calmed my body down. The elevator button dinged, and I got out and walked to the washrooms. Bai was already waiting for me with a change of clothes.

“You look terrible,” he whispered.

“Did you change the camera feed on the elevator?” I questioned instead.

“Yes. Everyone has left his office floor. He is alone,” Bai informed me as he handed me the gun.

Great. I changed my clothes and walked out while Bai locked himself in one of the stalls acting as my backup. I used the fire exit to get to his office and rushed up the stairs. I reached the floor in seconds and walked into his office.

He was in the same position where I had initially found him, only this time he was sipping the cup of coffee that I had delivered. I raised my gun and waited for him to notice my presence.

He leaned back and smiled. “Disguised as a delivery man and now assassin. You have the same scent – a woody aquatic fragrance. A very expensive designer scent of citrus, and nutmeg. I would say Issey Miyaki. The mask you are wearing will not hide who you are for long.”

I smirked and leaned against the door, gun still raised. “How is your coffee, sir?” There was no need to bluff since my intention was not to boast but to spend more time in his presence.

“You got it right. Peppermint is my favorite.” He put the book down.

“Hands where I can see them,” I warned, and he smiled. He put the coffee down and he put his hands behind his head as he leaned back on the chair.

“Is this okay?” he smirked.

I wanted to rush over, tie his hands together, and press my c*ck in his mouth to subdue him until he moaned.

“Mhmm.”

“Why are you here? It's not to kill me I guess or else I would be dead the first time you did the delivery,” he questioned.

I stared at his mouth and then our eyes clashed. He must have read my intentions since his gasp was audible.

“You are right, Director. I am here for you.”

“You’ve got to be f*cking kidding me. I am not interested in men,” he seethed. I finally got to see him bothered.

“Yet when you touched my hand, you felt it.” I referred to how the zing of electricity hit both of our hands.

He looked away in defiance and muttered, “I did not feel anything.”

“You are a bad liar, Director Vance. Men like you have no time for lies,” I responded and took a step toward him.

He stood up and raised his hand. “Don’t.”

“Why? Even your voice affects me,” I informed him.

“I don’t want any of this,” he stated firmly.

“Neither did I.”

I slowly walked forward until I reached his desk. There was a file on the table titled ‘Code name Daxia’. I used the gun to pull it over and then opened it. There was information on all the heists that Daxia had committed. I raised my eyes and looked up at him and laughed.

“So, this is why you are in New York?” I drawled.

He remained mute. I could tell he was reading me and then our eyes clashed. “Who are you?” he asked.

I walked over to his desk, and he took a step back. The action forced him to stumble but he recovered and held on to the desk. His body was leaning on the desk as I slowly walked and towered over him. I saw his eyes go to my gun.

I smirked. “I bet that I am faster than you think. Don’t even bother.”

His eyes blazed with anger. “Just shoot me and leave.”

I moved with speed and pressed my body over his while the gun was cocked against the side of his head. Behind the mask, my face burned with need. I could see the blush rising on his cheeks the minute our lower bodies pressed on each other. My c*ck was hard while he stirred beneath me.

“My my my, what do we have here, Director?” I whispered and then pressed myself harder against him. His gasp was a surprise. It was in between a moan and a grunt.

“F*ck off,” he bit out through gritted teeth.

“But I want to f*ck you,” I smirked.

His eyes widened and he shook his head. “I would rather be dead than let you humiliate me.”

The words uttered cut so deep that it made me angry. I leaned down and watched as he closed his eyes. I whispered in his ear, “Vance Adira, you are mine. Very soon, you will beg me to f*ck you mercilessly. I will bet my life on it.”

I moved away and slowly retreated out of the office. My last words to him were, “I left you a gift in the coffee package, my sweet director. See you soon.”

By the time I got to the fire exit on the floor below, Bai was already on standby. We left the CIA offices the same way we came in and the intruder alarm sounded after we had passed by the gates. Director Vance must have alerted the security team.

Bai laughed so hard. “Oh Daxia, you will be the number one hunted man in New York after this.”

My eyes sparked with amusement. “Let him focus solely on me. The mafia families need to remain safe.”
