As Dr. Marcus continued to elude his grasp, wandering further into the unknown corridors of the hospital.

Frustration boiled within Ethan as he couldn't help but mutter, "Aish, this crazy doctor!"

Upon reaching the chronic illness ward, he came to a halt, keenly observing his surroundings. Dr. Marcus' eyes darted left and right, scanning for any signs of seseorang. Dr. Marcus then cautiously stepped into the ward.

"Why was Dr. Marcus so vigilant before entering?" Ethan quietly wondered, perplexed by the extra layer of caution exhibited by the enigmatic doctor.

Ethan approached the door to the chronic illness ward, trying to open it, but found it locked. As he fumbled with the lock, a nurse spotted him.

"Mr. Ethan, you're Miss Liz's guest, are you? What are you doing here?" she asked.

Ethan, with his characteristic charm, flashed a broad smile and responded, "Oh, no, not at all."
