Chapter 211: Floating in an Eternal Cycle of Life and Death

For a while, Abrial floated in darkness. There were no thoughts in her head. it was just…comfortable. This cool darkness, the floating sensation. It was restful.

"There she is."

A mischievous voice grinned somewhere behind Abrial, and she turned around, blinking and squinting at the figure in front of her. Abrial's eyes widened/

In front of her was a form slowly coming into light—slender, pale, with patched clothing, layers upon layers of shawls, and a crooked smile.

Abrial stared, squinting harder. "...Am I dead? Am I in the Spirit Realm now? Huh…"
