Chapter 67: looking for the perpetrator

Together with three police officers, Leonardo returned to the apartment and immediately searched the rooms, especially the kitchen.

Miriam, who was resting in her room, quickly came out and met Leonardo with confusion.

"Sir, what's going on? And where is Mrs. Georgina?" She asked anxiously.

Leonardo sighed, looking at Miriam, who appeared innocent wearing a slightly long gray skirt and a white top. Somehow, he wasn't sure that she was the one who poisoned his wife, even though he hadn't found any evidence yet.

"Sir... Why are there police searching this room?" Miriam asked again, glancing at one of the officers searching the cabinet in the living room.

"Georgina had a miscarriage," Leonardo replied with concern, and Miriam immediately looked at him. "And she miscarried because there was alcohol in her system," he continued.
