The first flight lasted four hours, and after a transfer, the journey continued for another six hours.

Bei Sangyun only stopped in Country X for an hour of rest before boarding another flight to Country Y. Despite the ten hours of travel, she couldn't sleep and was thoroughly exhausted.

By the time the plane landed in Country Y, light snow was falling. Fortunately, Maid Ye Zhai and Fei Chuan had packed some winter clothes in her suitcase. After sleeping for five hours at the hotel, Bei Sangyun felt refreshed and headed to the house where Grandma Pei was staying.

The unfamiliar scenery passing by the car window did little to interest Bei Sangyun. She frowned as she dialed Fei Chuan's number. She had messaged him as soon as she arrived at the hotel, but since it was past midnight, she hadn't expected an immediate reply.
