Arianell opened the window and Luan leaned down to talk to her.
Since leaving the castle K'awill, and Rose insisted on riding in the carriage together, saying that she would take care of her as a maid, but it was the exact opposite. Arianell felt like the attendance instead, while the little girl's body was splattered over the couch and the deep breath indicating the person's slumber could be heard.
"What's wrong?" She whispered.
"We have left the Forest and will arrive in Elpida before the evening," he informed her.
"Are you sure?" Arianell frowned. From what she could see, there were still trees all around them. The city was more in the south, near the Helu'ai. The landscape was more mountainous, completely different from where she lived in the past.
"These trees are not part of the Forest… Just have a look," he said and had Ash slow down so that her view wasn't hindered by anything.
