Chapter 302: Goodbye, Jardine (1)

The royal palace was very busy today, as many wagons were being loaded. The carriage lined up, creating the sight that was available only during the ball period. 

"Hey, don't you see how expensive this vase is?! Be careful with it!" Vincent was running here and there, making sure everything worked smoothly. Ever since his successful negotiation with the king, his confidence soared and he was like a changed man, beaming with positivity.

"It's nice that you are active… But don't you think you are being harsh on them?" Arianell asked. She was seated on the stairs, looking at the commotion as the preparations were underway. They packed up everything at the Haunted Mansion already, but when she came to the palace to bid farewell to her granduncle and grandaunt, she was showered with more gifts than she could ever use. 

Several carts must have been brought in to load everything before they left.
