"What is this ruckus?" Alviraz woke up before dawn when the sun was still nowhere to be seen. The noises around the castle were unusual and no servant was tending to him immediately when he raised from the bed.
"What is going on?" He stopped one of the retainers running in the hall.
"Your Majesty!" The servant knelt as he recognised the monarch in the sleeping robe.
"Tell me why everyone is awake at this hour?!" Alviraz ordered.
"I'm not too sure… The commander of the knights arrived with some nobles a moment ago and they are demanding the audience… The chamberlain is trying to hold them back…" The retainer quickly informed him.
"Why wasn't I noticed right away?" The king frowned. He was the highest leader in the kingdom, and he didn't like the fact that they were trying to hide something from him.
"We were told to not interrupt your rest…" The servant quickly apologized.
"What about master?" Alviraz asked.
