Arianell walked back to her house while holding the basket bitterly. The lovely smell of roses and baked apples reminded her of the girl with a serious face, who was urging her to leave quickly. She felt pathetic, as the children half of her mental age had to step out and protect her, when she, the grownup woman, knew nothing.
"I should at least gave her rose apple cakes…" Her heart tightened as the ominous feeling, that she won't be able to see them for a long time, crept in.
"Why am I feeling so restless? Even the sky is getting so dark now… I wonder if the storm is coming." The festive mood over Luan's victory disappeared without traces, only gloominess remained.
"I'm sorry, I promise we will have a celebration dinner next time… How about sleeping together tonight?" Arianell opened the bedroom door and let two magical beasts in. The sun just started to set, and she had never gone to sleep so early, but she was feeling exceptionally worn out today.
