"Yeah, we broke up," Xia Lihua replied. "It wasn't a serious relationship in the first place. It was all fake."

"Oh? It was not serious?" Shen Jia didn't really understand what Xia Lihua meant by 'fake' but Xia Lihua's tone was very casual. It seemed like she really didn't have any feelings for Ding Feng. 

Xia Lihua's lips were pressed in thin line. "Yeah, it wasn't." Xia Lihua wondered why Shen Jia was so curious. Last time also Shen Jia appeared to be invested in the gossip of her relationship with Ding Feng.

"Are you saying that because he cheated?"

"No, I would have broken up with him anyway," Xia Lihua asserted firmly. She still didn't know if he actually "cheated" or not, but he had betrayed her trust. There was no way she was going to be in a relationship with him.

Then it struck her mind.

Shen Jia wasn't curious about her. It was probably about Ding Feng.
