Jayce once again met with Dion and Kane the next day. Whilst they still showed some signs of fatigue, it was a lot less than the previous day. "I trust everyone had a good rest?" Dion spoke, his tone a little weird.
Instantly feeling wary, Jayce looked at Kane as if asking for any explanation. However Kane merely shrugged, unsure of what Dion's issue was.
"Ahem. Before getting into my bath last night, I noticed that my head was… how should I say this. More reflective than usual." His eyes narrowed, gauging the reactions of the two in front of him.
"Mmmph" Kane's hands flung up to his mouth in a desperate attempt to cover the laugh that threatened to escape.
Jayce on the other hand, held a stoic face, as if his features were carved from stone. Yet it could be seen that he was trying to hold it together with monumental effort and determination. He could not even open his mouth to respond, focusing all of his attention on keeping a straight face.
