------------

On a large skyscraper, located in an unknown city a certain blue skin young man was sleeping peacefully on a helipad, or more like the body was still inactive at the moment. But despite lacking a soul the body was breathing in a series of harmful ashes.

Normally protective gear could be worn to prevent these ashes from coming into biological contact with your body. As it was extremely harmful to nonmutants.

However, that wasn't the only thing bombarding our main character. No! Ashes along with thick oily raindrops coming came crashing down from the sky.

Potentially bathing him in a nuclear rain, which was bad news seeing that each drop contains high amounts of radiation, along with various amounts of chemicals all lethal to the human body.

"Ha?... Men, where the hell am I now?"

Ophis said to himself as he attempt to get up, however, he soon fell to the ground.

"Ha... What... Wait... Yeah that's right I log in to Pandora online after creating my character... Wait I finally log in, I'm talking."

"Hahaha... I'm talking, I'm talking, I'm talking, although... My word sounds a little jumbled."

"Ha, this feeling of a thousand droplets of wonder, this... Haha... I see it's raining, but why is black?"

Ophis said in glee and wonder, although he wasn't doing it to an exaggerated level, it was a calm and unnoticed glee, but strange enough a smile didn't appear on his face either.

No in this particulate case, ophis had a stoic and uninterested expression on his face. It was kind of a weird situation indeed.

Mentally Ophis was celebrating like a kid visiting the toy store for the first time and given the privilege to pick anything he wants.

But physically Ophis was just dead on the outside, as his representation of happiness was completely non-existent. The way he felt on the inside didn't match what he was feeling on the outside at all.

Although, Ophis himself didn't realize it yet. And maybe he never will. However the ten years he spent inside locked away inside his consciousness. Alone! And unable to see, unable to speak, unable to feel, unable to taste, unable to smell, and unable to interact with anyone else but himself; damaged Ophis beyond repair; and in more ways than one at that.

As a result, his mental psyche was rewired over time into the egotistical individual he is now. Of course, this wasn't sociopathy or psychopathy. No!

Those were just of the traits he possesses the correct mental disorder that Ophis has is Anti-social personality behaviors. In every sense of the word, Ophis can't understand people's feelings, or more like he doesn't see the need to.

He can feel happiness, sadness, and other emotion, yes, however expressing them physically or showing empathy toward others was hard for him.

Even now despite the lack of emotion, inwardly Ophis was celebrating like a maniac, so much so, he crawl and kneel to the edge of the tall skyscraper to see the world around him from a high place as he extended his hands out, and said while inwardly smiling.

'Hahaha... I'm free, I'm fucking free I tell yah, this feeling of cold and brittly concrete beneath my feet, this chilly and chaotic breeze blowing on my skin, the rain pouring in multiple directions on my body, it's even more amazing than I can remember, hahaha... Yes, yes, YYYYYEEEESSSS!!!... This is it, the feeling of being alive.'

'And best of all, this world, it's so beautiful, it's second only to the realm I was previously in when I was making my characters just a moment ago hahaha... Is this happiness, yes I'm satisfied so it has to be.'

Ophis was mesmerized by the beauty of the world before him, the sky was dark and murky with tints of red mixed with it.

Rain of gooey toxic black mire pours down from the sky above; infecting the land below with its oily-like substance. The scent of heavy metal fills the world around him. To add more to the crude and chaotic environment, creatures of pure terror roam the land, and sky alike with their disfigured body or metallic frame. The lighting was green and red, while also being toxic, and highly radioactive to boot. Even going off into the distance the sound of gunshots could be heard, only to be silent right after as if to symbolize imminent death and despair.

This place lacks all hope, and yet Ophis knelt before the beauty of the world, in all his life, he had never felt more alive than now.

To see!

To feel!

To smell!

To taste!

To hear!

He felt free, and in all regards he truly was. What others saw as Chaos, Ophis saw as beautiful. Truly this was beauty in all its glory, to be alive, and be a part of the world was all Ophis ever wanted, and now that dream finally came.

"Aww yes, nothing beats the sensation of the flesh, I'm excited to feel more, but for now let's experiment with this superior body."

Ophis said with satisfied glee. His tone was dull, and his face was without expression as per usual.

The first thing Ophis tried to do was to stand up, but the moment he did he lost his balance and fell to the ground.

"Was walking always this hard?... Hmm oh well I could be worst so for now let's just crawl."

And like that, Ophis began to crawl on the ground just like a baby. Who could blame him, after all, it's been years since he felt the sensation of anything. It was a little embarrassing. Yes! but even that felt satisfying to Ophis, it was an emotion he had long forgotten.

Although he felt like he could do something a little bit more comfortable, and as if it came naturally to Ophis. He suddenly began to float four inches off the ground, at this point, he was levitating, however, he did feel a little disbalance, but right there and then his large snake/dinosaur-looking tail split into eight appendages moving in exotic patterns.

By doing this, it somehow helps him to balance.

"So this is flying, it's a little hard, but with some practice, I think I can master it, yeah let's try to practice a little bit."

And like that, Ophis began to practice the art of flying around the helipad, baby steps one might say, and to his surprise, after five minutes he was able to fly without the assistance of his tail acting as a crotch.

"So this must be the adaptability of the Nagasaur, impressive."

"It's quite easy, I just have to focus on where I want to go while relaxing all the muscles in my body. In layman's terms crawling with my mind."

"Although let's practice it a little bit more."

And so Ophis began to practice flying even more to the point it soon became second nature to him, he fly from building to building going at a subsonic speed at first, till eventually he break the sound barrier but soon realize that Mach-1 was his limit.

Another hour passed and at this point, Ophis was confident in his flying skills. But of course, this was all thanks to the fast adaption speed that this new body had to offer.

Now after learning how to fly Ophis was floating in the air lying on his back and chilling till suddenly he heard the same voice of the woman, when

[You have been exposed to a huge amount of radiation within the atmosphere for some time now, and it has finally begun to slowly affect the body]

[Your body has evolved to the crisis at hand, you now have a natural immunity to radiation]

[Your body has evolved once more, your N-Cell can naturally absorb radiation and weaponized it by converting it into pure energy, you can now shoot energy balls, and make energy base weapons]

When Ophis heard this he was surprised at the news, and speaking of energy base weapons he suddenly felt an urge for power surging true his entire body.

Naturally, he felt like he could manipulate this as he pleased, and with that in mind, he looked at a stray building, that was before him.

He inwardly smiles, as he began to direct the energy into his arms that flow down into his hands, and soon a pair of dark blue energy balls the size of a basketball were formed in his hands.

And after it was a form he began to shoot the skyscraper with his newly formed energy balls as it flew from his hands with great speed.

And upon impact, it made a large hole in the building leaving an extensive amount of burn marks.

Seeing that damage done, Ophis look at his hand with shock as he said.

"Convenient, although I think it's about time I find out more about this mysterious Ai."

"Oi mysterious Ai lady, who exactly are you, and what role do you play in this game?"

And upon asking this the Ai responded.

[I am the player system administrator, revered as Thaumela. My job is to assist the players in Pandora with multiple tasks, such as summoning the status board, giving quests, distributing rewards, finances, and so on]

Announce Thaumela, to which Ophis replied.

"I see, well ok then Thaumela, please show me, my status board."

[Affirmative. Now showing the player status board]
