"So, you guys have many leaders as well?" Rain asked. "The magic people and the beast people live like that as well, so I am not that surprised."

Van looked like he had to ask some questions… he knew how things worked with the magic people, but he wasn't sure about human territory. Still, he decided to stay quiet since he was working, and looking too friendly with Rain would make him look suspicious.

"We call them elders, but they don't have to be particularly old to become one of the leaders of this country," Isa explained. "They just had to be prominent in one field or the other and affect positively a lot of people, and then they can receive the votes of the population to become part of the parliament."
