Chapter 608: Checking enemy territory

On the following day, Geo returned to Rain's base, and this time with some more unsettling news. He informed Rain and his wives that a group of monsters had suddenly appeared in the beast people lands, and to everyone's astonishment, the creatures had ended up killing themselves.

"I guess their so-called allies betrayed them already," Terra said, and then she realized something. "No, wait…" 

"What did the beast people do this time?" Seara asked.

"... Nothing," Geo said after gulping. "It seemed that they had been waiting for it."

The beast people's apparent desire for dungeons in their territory raised concerns among Rain and his group. They recognized that dungeons could serve a dual purpose for the beast people – they could be used to enhance their own strength through fighting, or potentially, they could harness the monsters within to launch attacks on the human territory. This realization left Rain with a troubling thought.
