Chapter 118: The Revelation

He had no idea who they were or where they were from. Joe was agreeable and innocent about most of the things that went on in the town. He had never left fall spire his whole life and only knew things he read from books. He had a bright mind but wasn't practical about certain things. Now, there was a smile plastered on his face as he waited for his young hand to be shaken.

Stephan looked at Joe's hands before he looked at the boy's face. It was glaring why the bit had offered his hands to be shaken. Stephan deduced that he was not more than 23 years of age and he could smell the fresh blood that ran through his veins. He peeled his gaze off the boy's hand and continued to stare at the minister.
