Chapter 108: Should We Go Together?

"You and the human slave are going to dark and lonely places now, I see..."

"Wow! You've observed something life changing," Stephan said with every word dripping with deep sarcasm.

"You need to be applauded, Kane..."

Kane drowned deeply as anger swelled within him. He willed himself to calm down as the pleasure of driving in what he wanted to say could not elude him -- he wouldn't let his anger steal that away from him. So, Kane smiled.

"The disease that Jaden is suffering from is apparently spreading to you," said Kane. "Has the human bewitched you too?"

"The last time I checked, you were the one reeking of witches and wizards... Moon Oasis boy!"

Kane slammed his hand on the railing lining the stairs and growled at Stephan.

Stephan didn't move a muscle. He didn't flinch. He observed Kane with a look of feigned confusion on his face.

"When you are done with your schematics, get out of my way!"
