"This is insane, but it's safe now." On the other side, Kate Bishop brought a stray dog with one blind eye back home.

"What's the deal with Armand? Threatening my mother and then buying a sword on the black market?" Kate Bishop bombarded the dog with a series of questions while holding a bag. "Is he connected to those who broke in?"

The stray dog's response was panting with its tongue sticking out.

"I need to figure out what's going on with Armand." The dog couldn't provide answers, so Kate Bishop had to take matters into her own hands. She found Armand's address and quietly infiltrated his home.

However, what surprised her was that Armand was already lying in a pool of blood!

"Oh my god." Kate Bishop didn't dare linger and quickly fled the scene.

But she hadn't run far when she was cornered by members of the tracksuit mafia.

Kate Bishop hid in her car, but the tracksuit mafia members were relentless. A tall, burly man hammered on the car window with loud thuds. After a few hits, the window shattered with a crash.

As Kate Bishop was about to be exposed in the car, a surprise guest arrived and swiftly took down the tracksuit mafia members.

"Come over here." The unexpected guest opened the car door, pulled Kate Bishop out, dragged her into a small alley, and then removed her mask.

"No way!" Upon seeing that the mask only covered a young girl's face, Clint Barton's raised fist froze in the air.

"You're Hawkeye!" Kate Bishop immediately recognized her idol.

"And who are you?" Clint Barton asked.

"I'm Kate Bishop." Kate Bishop replied.

"You're just a kid." Clint Barton said, "Where did you get that outfit?"

"I..." Whether it was the excitement of seeing her idol or some concern, she opened her mouth but didn't say anything.

"Listen, let's get out of here, okay?" Clint Barton said, "You're not safe here. Do you live nearby?"

Kate Bishop did indeed live nearby and immediately led Clint Barton to her home.

"Where did you learn to fight?" On the way, Clint Barton asked.

"I started learning martial arts when I was five." Kate Bishop said.

"So, you've been at it for about a year?" Clint Barton asked while looking around as they walked.

"What are you doing? Observing for danger?" Kate Bishop was curious about Clint Barton's actions.

"More or less," Clint Barton replied.

"Is that how you always operate?" Kate Bishop asked again. "Constantly observing suspicious situations?"

"Let me make it clear, I'm no rookie, alright?" Seeing that Clint Barton didn't answer her question, Kate Bishop continued, "I was a bit scared, but I didn't back down against those jerks. A lot of people around here call me the best archer in the world."

"Is that so?" Clint Barton asked, "Do those people include you?"

"I'm one of them, too." Kate Bishop said.

"Alright, open the door." Clint Barton said.

"Okay." Kate Bishop opened the door and led Clint Barton inside.

"Take off the tracksuit, and I'll take it with me when I leave." Clint Barton didn't intend to stay here any longer. After entering, he spoke for only a few sentences before asking for the tracksuit.

"Sure, I'll go change now." Kate Bishop carried her bag and went upstairs while muttering to herself as she walked, "Stay calm, stay calm. Hawkeye is actually in my house."

"Where did you get that outfit from?" Clint Barton looked up and asked.

"At the black market auction." Kate Bishop said.

"Did you buy it?" Clint Barton observed the place. There were targets, bows, and a lot of archery trophies.

"Not exactly." Kate Bishop's voice came.

"What did you do while wearing this outfit?" Clint Barton asked.

"I beat up a few guys, saved a dog, and sneaked into someone else's house." Kate Bishop said.

"Oh my god." Clint Barton couldn't help but sigh, "You're only 22 and already playing the hero. Don't you go to school?"

"Why even ask?" Kate Bishop came down the stairs, holding a bow and arrows. "I've answered all your questions. Now it's my turn to ask. First of all, can you give me an autograph?"

"I haven't finished my questions yet." Clint Barton casually placed the tracksuit Kate Bishop had given him on a nearby chair.

"After you're done, can you sign my bow?" Kate Bishop excitedly said, "You're my favorite Avenger."

"What I need to know is if anyone has seen your face." This was the main question Clint Barton wanted to confirm.

"No, I'm very professional. I've always worn a mask." Kate Bishop said.

"That's good. The owner of this outfit has quite a few enemies." Clint Barton said, "Understand? The tracksuit mafia is just one of them."

"That doesn't sound good." Kate Bishop said.

"You didn't mention this outfit to anyone else, did you?"

"No."

"This outfit won't cause you any trouble, right?"

"No."

"You have to be sure."

"I'm sure."

"Absolutely sure?"

"Yes."

However, as soon as Kate Bishop finished saying these words, someone outside was shouting her name.

Crash!

Then the sound of breaking glass followed, as a gasoline bottle on fire was thrown in. The ground immediately erupted in flames.

Clint Barton quickly ran to the window and saw a few guys in tracksuits outside.

"Here's a surprise for you, bro." One of the men held another flaming bottle and threw it into the room.

Crash!

Clint Barton predicted the trajectory of the bottle and shattered the glass that was about to break with his hand. When the bottle flew in, he reached out and grabbed it, then threw it back.

Kate Bishop wasn't one to be pushed around either. She shot an arrow out of the room.

Although she fought back, the house was now on fire.

The tracksuit outfit was also cut off by the blaze.

Helplessly, Clint Barton could only leave with Kate Bishop.

After leaving, Clint Barton took Kate Bishop to her aunt's house.

"Go treat your wounds, use this, and here's some soap disinfectant. I'll go back to your apartment to get the clothes." After a simple explanation, Clint Barton turned to leave. "Then I'll go back to my kid."

When Clint Barton returned, he found that the fire had been extinguished. Several firefighters were moving around, and many people were watching.

Clint Barton quietly put on a set of firefighter gear from the fire truck and sneaked into the scene.

After searching around, he didn't find the tracksuit outfit, not even a trace of it being burnt.

But he didn't leave empty-handed. He found a clue about the tracksuit outfit. He discovered in a video online that someone wearing the tracksuit outfit had taken it. Apparently, those cosplayers had taken it.

Clint Barton could only go back to the cosplayers to get the tracksuit outfit.

Kate Bishop didn't want to stay at her aunt's place. She wanted to go back to her company because her mother's company was in the security business, and she thought she might be safer there.

For the first half of the journey, the two of them traveled together.

"Your main problem is your image." On the way, Kate Bishop analyzed Clint Barton.

"No, my problem is you, that ninja outfit, and the people who want to kill you because of it." Clint Barton said, "I have to deal with these problems today so I can reunite with my family."

"No, it's definitely an image problem." Kate Bishop insisted on her point, analyzing it thoroughly, "Your problem is that you're too low-key. Your image doesn't have much selling point."

"I wasn't trying to sell any image in the first place." Clint Barton said.

"This image does make you look cool." Kate Bishop said, "But ever since the Avengers appeared, so many terrible things have happened. People don't like that cynical and cold image anymore. They want sincerity, not a face full of resentment. They want something more genuine."

"I understand." Clint Barton said, though it's unclear whether he truly understood or was just saying it.

"You're too reserved, and you're overly cautious. It's like you're wearing 16 layers of bulletproof armor." Kate Bishop continued analyzing, "Your inner thoughts are too hidden, and people can't feel them at all."

"Say it again, I wasn't trying to sell any image." Clint Barton said.

"Alright, but that's just the way you are," Kate Bishop said.

"Alright, Kate, then what can you say I offer to people?" Clint Barton asked, "Definitely not Halloween costumes or action figures on the shelf."

"Inspiration, Clint," Kate Bishop said. "I'm at the office now. Let's meet at the safe house after work."

"If today's plan goes smoothly, today might be our last meeting," Clint Barton had no intention of continuing to meet with Kate Bishop.

Leaving his number with her and stressing that it's only for emergencies, Clint Barton went to a cosplay event to get the tracksuit outfit. For this, he had to let himself be killed by someone during the event.

"In real life, you're a superhero, but this is the closest I've been to a superhero. Play along and let me 'kill' you." The reason given by the African American guy was hard to refuse.

"I won't make the plane." Clint Barton called his wife Laura.

"It's okay, you have flight insurance." Laura asked, "Is the situation serious?"

"It'll need another day." Clint Barton said.

"What about that trouble-making outfit?" Laura asked.

"I got it. For safety's sake, I need to keep it with me." Clint Barton said as he put the tracksuit outfit into the closet, "I'll deal with those tracksuit friends first."

"Oh god, those idiots again." Laura said.

"Yeah, those idiots." Clint Barton secured the tracksuit outfit and picked up the lock from the closet. "I'm not sure what's going to happen, I can only stay for a little longer. Lila and I made a promise to go back for Christmas."

"So you have five days left to keep that promise." Laura said.

"Yeah." Clint Barton said, "I'll miss building gingerbread houses with everyone."

"It's fine, anyway, you'd just be getting in the way." Laura asked, "What's your plan?"

"Bait the trap." Clint Barton said.

"Natasha's classic move." Laura said, "Be careful."

"Okay." Clint Barton locked the closet, "Send me some photos, let me see what they're up to, I need to set up my own net."

"Bait the trap?" Seeing this, Steve Rogers suddenly realized, "So that's what 'classic move' means. It's not about some kind of lethal technique, but a certain strategy."

"I'm even more confused. How did 'bait the trap' become my classic move?" Natasha Romanoff said, "Who among the four of us doesn't know that move?"

"Maybe it's something you did really well once, so whenever someone mentions that move, they think of you." Tony Stark said.

"Did I ever do something like that?" Natasha Romanoff had no recollection, "I can't remember."

"Either you will do it in the future, or it's the butterfly effect caused by the answering space. The you who would've done it originally won't do it anymore." Bruce Banner said.

"By the way, this Kate Bishop seems quite fascinated by Clint." Natasha Romanoff said, "It was their first meeting, but she seemed to know Clint very well."

"Maybe it's because she's also into archery." Clint Barton speculated, "Did you see all the archery trophies at her house?"

Clint Barton's guess wasn't wrong. Kate Bishop did enjoy archery, but he couldn't even imagine that the reason she liked archery was because of him.

So ultimately, Kate Bishop didn't like archery, but she liked Hawkeye.

"I think it's more accurate to say that Kate Bishop likes Hawkeye rather than archery." Bruce Banner noticed this, "If she had only noticed Hawkeye because of her liking for archery, that would make sense. But for her to wear the tracksuit outfit and act like a hero at the auction, that can't be explained by just liking archery. What she truly likes is Hawkeye. Hawkeye is her idol. She likes archery because her idol uses bows, and she acts heroically because that's what her idol would do."

"Speaking of which, this girl seems to have great potential as a superhero." Nick Fury admired Kate Bishop, "She's skilled and brave, a promising candidate."

"Fury, you won't go bother her, right?" Steve Rogers immediately said, "Our line of work is full of danger. She's just a young girl. Don't drag her into this."

"Don't worry, Captain, I'm just saying." Nick Fury said, "We have enough manpower now, and our enemies are too powerful. A non-powered player like her won't be of much use."
