DELICIOUS FRUITS
[A few hours later]
Well, since we are on an island with the ocean surrounding us, what could be better than some big lobsters and shrimp? With my signature spicy red sauce and a fresh side salad, everything will be perfect.
I flew in the middle of the Ocean and spread my Cosmic Awareness to find a reef where the lobster and shrimp are abundant. And luckily for us, I found some that should be good for eating and big in size. Using my gravity control, I fished for them until I had enough for everyone in my gravity bubble. Then, I flew back to the beach.
"Hey, Mom, lend me a hand," I requested as I landed on the beach, my gravity bubble filled with an assortment of crustaceans.
Well, both my moms turned toward me. It was still weird to think that my Mom was engaged to another woman. For the last few years, I have been so busy that I barely had enough time for my family. I was traveling all over the world to increase our Cosmic Sentinels group's popularity. It was almost exhausting. And it wasn't until last month, I actually had a real conversation with my new mom.
Her name is Cristina Lance and she is a model. I helped her set up some gigs for a popular magazine as I promised to my mom back then. Well, she quickly gained popularity as a rising model. Anyway, it's still weird to call her mother.

I spread the seafood out on the table and prepared some chopped veggies. Mom started making a sizzling garlic and onion dish. We were preparing for a feast for lunch.
"So, how are you two doing? Set a date of marriage, yet?" I asked, trying to make small talk.
"We wanted to get married early, but with your work and all, we decided to postpone it for now, until you and the others get things steady. We know how difficult it has been after the merge with another realm," She explained as she added seasoning to the onions.
I nodded at her as she went on.
"Anyway, enough about me, how are you doing with your harem? Ahem... I mean, your girls!" Mom cleared her throat with a smirk.
"We are actually doing great. I am happy, the girls are happy, what more could I want?" I replied while cleaning the shrimp and lobsters.
"So, who are you going to marry first?" She asked me.
"Sush! You want them to hear it?" I glared at her. "They will be after my ass to hear my answer. If I choose one the other will get angry. I know if I say nothing, they will still get mad."
Mom chuckled, "But you are going to marry them all... It's just a matter of the lineup."
"Exactly, that's the point. Who goes first?"
"Oh my, this is fun to listen too..." Cristina interrupted our chat. She walked in from behind, holding two cups of ice-cold lemonade. "Anyway, don't mind me,"
"Ah, not you too..." I rolled my eyes.
"The more you ignore this matter, the harder it will get in the future. Better make a quick decision now and face a bit less wrath..."
She handed me and Mom our cups of lemonade.
"Well, what do you guys think? Who should I choose first? I don't want them to get angry or disappointed. I know they won't say anything in front of me, but still..." I put the lobsters on the grill, sizzling and popping, and turned around toward Cristina. "Got any advice for me?"
"Well... How about you choose them the way you meet them? If you met Peggy first, let her be your first wife, then maybe Gwen and the others as you know... So on..." She suggested. "Of course, that's just a suggestion."
"Now that's a pretty good idea. Thank you," I nodded at her. If I go by that, then they won't have room for complaints or any jealousy or anger. Then, first is Peggy, huh? Well, marriage... Maybe it's about time to settle down with my girls for good.
"Anytime, Brian," Cristina waved.
"You, hon, just lifted a huge crisis from my son's head." She giggled.
"Hahaha! Don't tease him, G... He has enough to worry about," Cristina patted my back.
With that in mind, I continued my meal preparations. Peggy, eh? Maybe I'll surprise her with the news soon... I can't wait to see her expression. Oh, this is going to be fun.
"Then, Peggy first, I guess?" Mom chimed in, grinning.
"Haahhh, she'll love this... Yes, I guess I'm picking Peggy as my first wife."
I took a deep breath and smiled at both my moms.
"What?"
"Nothing... So, Cristina, how would you like your lobster and shrimp cooked?"
And with that, the conversation moved to a more cheerful topic, which I was glad for.
The lunch was very lively. Mom, Cristina, Gwen, Peggy, Sue, MJ, Domino, Phyla, Gali, Helen and Emilia enjoyed a grand meal together. Everyone loved the big and meaty crustaceans and the sweet and spicy flavors that accompanied them. The food and atmosphere were comforting and helped me release all the tension in my body. After a long time, I finally felt relaxed.
