Chapter 132: Vol-3 END: AFTERMATH OF THE MERGE

AN: This chapter is a bit short since it's mostly 3rd person POV brief narration of the aftermath after the merge with a time skip.

Starting Vol-4: Let's focus on Brian's two moms and harem first. Then Mutant x Metahumans ARC. Probably, the final arc.

-----

The merger of the realms caused an unparalleled transformation in the world. The lines between realities blurred, mixing the DC and Marvel worlds. Skyscrapers wore both Stark Industries' slick aesthetics and Wayne Enterprises' grandeur. The cities bore the merger of both universes, from Central City to New Asgard.

Heroes and villains alike found themselves traversing this new, united reality on a unified Earth. The Justice League and Teen Titans were among the new faces that appeared after the merge.

The heroes' collaboration was critical in arresting and containing the rampaging villains who used the merging to spread chaos. The new and old heroes worked together for a certain period. They captured the escaped villains by concerted efforts, uniting their abilities and diverse skills to restore order.

The heroes had a massive task ahead of them. When two universes collided, it was like assembling a massive jigsaw puzzle where the pieces didn't quite match. Despite this, they discovered a method to combine their forces and combat the turmoil.

Superman and Storm led collaborative missions, using their strategic intelligence and unrelenting drive to counteract the upheaval created by reality's convergence. Wonder Woman and Thor collaborated, their mutual heroism and power assisting in the restoration of order.

Meanwhile, Batman and Iron Man worked together, creating innovative ideas to blend technology from both realms, resulting in an unmatched arsenal to protect against possible dangers.

Unexpected alliances formed in the middle of the chaos. The Guardians of the Galaxy formed an interstellar alliance with the Green Lantern Corps, monitoring cosmic borders and protecting the united cosmos from extraterrestrial threats.

As the dust settled, a new age on this unified Earth began. A world where differences merged, heroes stood shoulder to shoulder, and the history of two universes collided, giving birth to a future of limitless possibilities.

However, as time passed, conflicts rose among the heroes. The Justice League is kinda pacifist and doesn't want to kill anyone, while the Illuminati are willing to go to extremes to protect the world by eliminating the threat from the roots.

It wasn't long before a rift formed between the two groups, with the Justice League criticizing the Illuminati for being too extreme. The Illuminati argued that they were simply doing what needed to be done to keep the world safe. This tension became a source of friction within the superhero community, with each side taking sides. Some shared the same vision as the existing Illuminati while others sided with the Justice League.

The situation only worsened when Joker escaped from Blackgate prison and started a rampage in Gotham. After he leveled a hospital, followed by an orphanage, the Illuminati took action, despite Batman's protests. They sent Hulk to Joker's den, who ripped the clown apart before he could spread his terrors any further.

After that day, the heroes were divided into different organizations. The Illuminati, Justice League, and finally the strongest force of all, Cosmic Sentinels, led by Brian Lawson. The Cosmic Sentinels were made up of the most powerful heroes, including Captain Marvel, Captain Carter, Ghost Spider, Scarlet Spider, Domino, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Emilia, the brilliant Bio-technician and doctor, and finally, Gali, Galactus's daughter.

The Illuminati continued their work, hunting down villains who escaped from prison and putting them back in their cells. They believed that there were no exceptions and that anyone who threatened the safety of the people should be dealt with accordingly. While Batman kept Arkham full. They even made a couple of more high-security prisons on secluded islands.

The Cosmic Sentinels, on the other hand, saw things differently. They didn't interfere in either's activities, but they did have their own mission. While the other organizations were busy with their daily fights and tension, Brian continued to follow through with his words of keeping the street safe from the corrupt heroes and officials.

"No one should fall through the grey area... Not when we Cosmic Sentinels are here to keep the balance. The heroes can fight all they want either among themselves or the villains, but if any civilians get injured or die, there will be a price to pay," said Brian, in an official interview with the Daily Bugle.

The public agreed with him, and they had a growing support from the citizens. The Cosmic Sentinels gained popularity, gaining more members from various corners of the world. It was easy for Brian to establish themselves as a neutral force that protected the innocent from both sides of the conflict. They were an existence keeping both sides in check. So, even if they killed some one causing trouble, everyone saw it as a step to protect the civilians.

And soon within four years, they established themselves as the leader of both hero organizations. Both the Justice League and Illuminati reluctantly agreed to work together under the banner of Cosmic Sentinels as its sub-branch. Well, they didn't have a choice in the face of overwhelming power and popularity.

And finally, the world found peace. There was still some tension between the different organizations, but everyone agreed to keep their personal conflicts in check for the greater good.

However, the heroes were not the only ones who had a significant impact on the new world. The villains too faced a transformation. The Joker's death resulted in the rise of a new generation of villains who were even more ruthless and intelligent. They were using Joker's identity as a symbol of fear and chaos, a reminder of what they could achieve if they joined forces.

These villains were led by a mysterious figure known only as the Phantom. And they call themselves the Children of the Clown. A new threat that has been lurking in the shadows since the day Joker died, waiting for the right moment to strike. But to do so, they somehow need to lure Brian and his team away from Earth or maybe seal them in the Phantom Zone.

And as for the alternate version of Gwen and Cindy Moon, they kept in contact with each other. Alt Gwen often pays a visit to Earth to catch up with her counterpart. But everyone knows that she transverses through realms to meet her mother who is actually dead in her own timeline.

It's a bittersweet relationship, but it's something that they both hold dear.

As for what Brian is doing after taking over the heroes' organizations, well, first he took in new metahumans and mutants who hid themselves all this time either in fear or due to their unstable power, and now they have a place to call home with the Cosmic Sentinels. An island known as Paradise, a peaceful place for those who need it.

Then, for those who wished to fight for the better good and wanted to be a hero, he and the other forming members trained them to become better heroes, teaching them about responsibility and accountability. At present, they are the ones who patrol the streets, prevent unnecessary fights, and help people in need, while Brian and his team of Cosmic Sentinels take care of the big threats.

But, right now, with the Lanterns and Guardians taking care of most of the threats, Brian is enjoying a nice vacation with his girls on a private island he bought and built a massive mansion, far away from the prying eyes, living the dream of every man.

You must have noticed the drop in quality. Reason> Lost my cloud storage data. Had to rewrite it again which wasn't fun. That's why, I will take my time with the vol-4 and try to regain some energy. If you want, you can consider this chapter as the end because MC is kinda too OP. But I will write 1 more arc due to fan request.
