Chapter 112: Chapter 112

"Wow, the treatment's done already?" Spider-Tom asked. He had seen the injuries on the adult Andrew Spider's body earlier, and almost all his bones were shattered. It should be challenging to heal in such a short time, right?

Mark, holding Spider-Gwen's hand, quietly and briefly introduced Happy's identity to her.

At this moment, Spider-Gwen, was mainly scrutinizing Spider-Tom and the middle-aged Toby Spider, the two Spider-Men.

Because earlier, when Mark and she first met in Aunt May's house in the Spider-Verse, they talked about the stories of the other three Spider-Men.

Now that she finally met them in person, it was only natural to be a bit curious.

She still remembered the remarks of the two people at that time.

Middle-aged Peter Spider said Toby Spider's world was extremely similar to his, and the one in front of them happened to be a middle-aged man. On the other hand, Penny Parker's comment on this Spider-Tom was: "I hope to come to this world one day and have him treat me to candies and buy me a game console."

Clearly, Penny was also a "person of character," resolutely adhering to the philosophy of taking advantage of wealthy people.

Happy Hogan smiled and shook his head, making way.

A head peeked out from where he stepped aside.

Surprisingly, it was the adult Andrew Spider who had suffered severe injuries earlier.

Mark and the others were stunned.

Such severe injuries healed in such a short time?

"Hey! Everyone, thanks for saving me, hahaha~" Adult Andrew Spider greeted them with a big smile.

Mark felt a bit speechless.

This familiar laughter indicated that Andrew Spider hadn't changed a bit.

Sure enough, regardless of which world's Andrew Spider, they were all cheerful heroes. Well, The Ghost is a rare exception.

The infectious laughter echoed nearby, and the mood of the people relaxed. Perhaps this was also one of Andrew Spider's unique abilities.

"So, you're better so quickly?" Middle-aged Toby Spider walked to the side of the portal, pulled adult Andrew Spider over, and scrutinized him.

Spider-Tom and Ned also surrounded adult Andrew Spider.

Adult Andrew Spider turned in place and even jumped a couple of times. "Really better! That medical device is so amazing!"

Happy Hogan also flipped out from the portal, smiling and saying, "There's a device in this hospital called the 'Cradle of Regeneration,' which has the ability to regenerate human tissues."

Mark understood this immediately.

This was the "artifact" that appeared in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," designed by a Korean-American geneticist, Dr. Helen Cho.

It was a self-made technology that combined regeneration and self-construction. Based on the body's own tissue cells, it integrated genetic technology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence to rapidly repair damaged tissues and even reconstruct the human body.

In the movie, Ultron controlled Dr. Helen Cho and used the Cradle of Regeneration to create a synthetic life form—the Vision.

Unexpectedly, this device was under the Stark Industries umbrella.

So, if they used this device to treat adult Andrew Spider, it's no wonder he recovered so quickly.

Spider genes themselves have a powerful regenerative effect. Coupled with the external intervention of the Cradle of Regeneration, adult Andrew Spider has now essentially returned to his peak state.

Mark walked up and gently hugged adult Andrew Spider, saying, "Welcome back, buddy."

"Thank you, thank you so much," Adult Andrew Spider was deeply moved.

Afterwards, Ned, middle-aged Toby Spider, and Spider-Tom approached, each embracing him, welcoming his recovered return.

Their warmth touched adult Andrew Spider.

At this moment, Happy Hogan noticed that his beloved nephew, Peter, was limping as he walked. He quickly walked over, concerned, "Peter, are you injured?"

Spider-Tom waved his hands repeatedly, saying, "I'm fine."

Happy quickly went to his side, checked him, and without hesitation, put Peter's arm over his shoulder, saying, "You're still fine even in this condition. Come on, let's go for treatment."

He then asked Doctor Strange to open the portal that he just dismissed.

Doctor Strange complained, "What do you take me for?"

But he still opened one for Peter, wanting to see Spider-Tom recover quickly.

Ned chimed in, "Like a mage in World of Warcraft?"

Doctor Strange tapped him on the head, saying, "You're the one with a big mouth."

Ned fled with his hands covering his head, saying, "Master, I was wrong, I was wrong."

Mark: ?

Middle-aged Toby Spider, who was chatting with adult Andrew Spider, turned around and explained, "Just now, Stephen found out that Ned has a talent for magic, so he decided to make him a magical apprentice, so..."

Mark raised an eyebrow, surprised that Ned had indeed become Doctor Strange's student? Well, this guy seems to be quite lucky.

In the original plot, he did show remarkable magical talent. For instance, wielding Doctor Strange's ring, he performed a spell to open a portal and locate the two Spider-Men. However, later on, probably due to casting Runes of Kofkol, making everyone forget about Peter Parker. His relationships to others, including whatever actions Ned took during that time got removed. In the end, his magical talent was concealed, possibly setting up a plot point in the original story.

Now, with those events not occurring, it's not surprising that Doctor Strange noticed Ned.

After Doctor Strange knocked Ned on the head, dispelling the magic, Ned quickly followed MJ through the portal, joining Happy and Spider-Tom, preparing for treatment.

Once the four of them left:

"By the way, Stephen, what commands are in the Runes of Kofkol right now?" Mark asked Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange replied, "It makes everyone except May Parker, Michelle Jones-Watson, Ned Leeds, etc., forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man."

It's evident that despite Doctor Strange's apparent annoyance for Spider-Tom, he takes care of him. When perfecting the spell, he even added those additional conditions.

"Well, I mean, is there a possibility to send those people back to their respective worlds without the magic taking effect?" Mark stroked his chin, contemplating as he spoke.

Doctor Strange frowned, "Why would you want to do that? Young Peter hopes that others won't interfere with him, which is why he sought my help."

"But in that case, what will happen to Stark's legacy? Young Peter is deeply connected with Stark's. whether it's the continuation of Iron Man's will or Stark Industries." Mark remarked.

Doctor Strange fell into thought.

As an adult, his perspective on problem-solving was naturally more comprehensive.

Some things, perhaps not initially considered, become apparent after a little guidance.

The matter of Spider-Man being Peter Parker has indeed had significant repercussions, and it's not by chance; there's an unseen hand in the shadows watching all of this!"

Doctor Strange furrowed his brow, "Are you suggesting that someone has set their sights on Tony's legacy and is planning to tarnish Peter's image?"

Mark nodded.

His speculation wasn't baseless.

There were precedents for such occurrences.

Mysterio and their team that appeared in "Far From Home" were among those who targeted Iron Man's legacy. They had some connection to Iron Man in their past identities, harboring hatred and revenge against him. However, when Iron Man was alive, these emotions couldn't be openly displayed. After all, both Tony Stark's identity and financial capabilities were beyond their reach, even if combined.

But Iron Man was dead.

This naturally provided them with the perfect opportunity to seek revenge.

Mysterio exploited this psychological vulnerability and, with their persuasive abilities, managed to manipulate these individuals for their own purposes.

However, given the vastness of Iron Man's legacy, enough to make figures like the Vulture covet it, how could only the team of Mysterio be involved?

Spider-Tom, as Iron Man's "godson", received the E.D.I.T.H glasses, granting special access to various core locations of Stark Industries. Naturally, he became a thorn in the eyes of many.

Though still a child, he possessed superhuman abilities, held a recognized identity (Spider-Man), and had an intelligent mind—making him essentially an Iron Man replica. Even Iron Man's closest comrade, Happy Hogan, often found them quite alike.

Fortunately, he was still a child.

Dealing with him would be much easier than dealing with the shrewd and calculated Tony Stark.

Therefore, Spider-Tom's current situation likely had more than one puppeteer behind the scenes, causing it to escalate rapidly.

The original Spider-Tom's actions seemed more like an escape.

Faced with all this, he didn't know what to do.

However, because of this, he lost Iron Man's legacy, making it fall into the hands of others.

If Iron Man knew about this, he'd probably crawl out of his grave to give him a good beating—similar to the illusion created by Mysterio in the "Far From Home."

Mark shared his analysis with Doctor Strange, while on the other side, Adult Andrew Spider-Man and Middle-Aged Tobey Spider-Man stopped their conversation and listened intently.

The location where they stood was a short distance from Gwen Stacy, Andrew Spider-Man, and the Evil Andrew Spider-Man.

Middle-Aged Tobey Spider-Man knew that Adult Andrew Spider-Man was injured by the Evil Andrew Spider-Man, so it wasn't convenient to introduce the situation on that side. Therefore, they hadn't been able to meet face to face yet.

"If this is true, then this guys are real bastards." Adult Andrew Spider-Man said in anger.

Middle-Aged Tobey Spider-Man shook his head slightly, "This is human nature. Can we help Peter in any way?"

Spider-Tom, being the youngest, had become the favorite in this current Spider-Man small team.

Mark nodded, "I do have a plan, but I need Stephen's help."
