Chapter 2: time to work
He jumped into the air and said, "Time to get to work." He quickly moved as he saw Yoruichi was about to get hit. He tried to protect her but, got hit by what looked like a seed in his shoulder. He felt his arm twitch and said, "Huston we have a problem...I can't control my sword arm."
He tried to attack the hollow but, his arm froze and his muscles kept twitching. He jumped back for a minute and said, "Either, you change form and kill that starfish quickly or we switch dance partners." After a thought he added, "Just in case, dislocate my arm..."
Yoruichi's eyes narrowed, "Spirit king..." She didn't want to harm him, he was her king.
He said, "I'm not asking you to cut it off. Just dislocate it. We both know that I am not in the condition to fight, not with the starfish controlling my arm. I would be a hindrance and possibly attack you. We can relocate it after the fight...besides, after that Konso, I can call more help."
She wasn't as powerful as she was in Canon due to the rules of this world. Don't get me wrong, ever since she was summoned into this world, she roughly has the power of a Lt. When he ranks up, she'll regain her power by one rank higher until, they hit Captain rank.
He looked around as Yuroichi moved and during a shunpo dislocated his shoulder before she went after the closest one.
Cole jumped out of the way as one of the hollows smacked him with its lizard like tail to the sea. He tried to grab the ground but, ended up skipping on the water before landing on the Oro Jackson's roof. He groaned, "Yup, broke a rib...Yay..." He then moved to stand with one arm dangling. He raised his sword and moved as if he was unlocking a door and thought, 'Use summoning ticket.'

A black crack formed and what looked like a white armored leopard with blue hair coming out of the mask walked out. It almost pranced out like a cat and looked down at Cole. It roared before Cole quickly went infront of him. He said, "Easy Grimmjow, these humans didn't do anything to me. I only landed here."
Grimmjow spoke, "Of course these weak humans can't harm you, spirit king. That doesn't stop me from being angry at your state. Now, tell me who it was and I'll eat them."
Reighly came up and saw Cole and only heard his part but, saw a shimmering silhouette of Grimmjow.
Cole exhaled, "I am only one of the old man's choices...but, I have a feeling you're going to ignore that and keep calling me that like Yoruichi."
Grimmjow moved his tail protectively around him and said, "That cat is here too? I take it that she's fighting those who hurt you? Let me eat them, I won't need to eat for awhile after and I can have some fun."
Cole said, "Fine but, fight them away from the humans...and kill that starfish one first. It has an annoying ability." Cole then moved to sit cross legged to try to heal.
Grimmjow nodded before dashing off at his order. He laughed as he ran into the city. Cole yelled, "And don't cause too much damage."
Reighly came up and looked at him after he saw the glimmer left, "Who are you and that Glimmer, boy?"
Cole looked up and asked, "You can see me?" He moved to circle him and muttered, "he looks like a normal human...He doesn't look he left his body. Maybe a Quincy or is his soul strong enough to see me? curiouser and curiouser."
Reighly said, "Stop looking at me like a beautiful woman...I am not into guys. And what do you mean, by that? of course I can see you."
Cole said, "Because, usually humans can't see a shinigami...let alone a Hollow. Pluses; uh Spirits, sure but, normally not us. As for me and the Hollow...er 'glimmer' you saw, I am Jack Coleman; a Spirit king candidate, He was Grimmjow."
Reighly said, "So, you aren't here for me...or any of us?"
Cole said, "I was only here to send Roger and the spirits in Loguetown to Soul Society. It's just a few feral low ranked hollows got in the way." A cat jumped across the water and didn't look happy, "I see you met our new friend, Yoruichi."
Yoruichi said, "You never said, our new 'friend' is a Hollow. What if he'll eat any and every soul he encounters?"
Cole said, "He's not a low level hollow, at his rank, he'll go after other hollows. Plus, from what I recall, he used to eat a limb from his subordinates when they offered. He practically starved himself and even then, they could regenerate their limbs.
Also I have no control over who the old man sends. If I did, I would've asked for Kisuke so, he could make me a Gigai or other fun toys. Being able to sneak into anywhere I want is fun and all but, I want to be able to eat human food. I want to eat Pizza, juicy burgers, fried foods or Ice cream; anything with taste. I am tired of eating the rations the old man sends; they're all bland and tastes like cardboard."
Yoruichi said slowly, "That...makes sense." He got up and Yoruichi jumped onto his shoulder. He looked up as Grimmjow walked back to him.
Grimmjow moved to around Cole and stopped at his side before he gave a burp, "that starfish was annoying but, tasty my king."
Yoruichi meowed, "I thought you said he wouldn't eat souls. That he would starve himself and only eat the limbs of hollows."
Grimmjow chuckled, "I did back then." He then curled his tail around Cole. He saw his condition and said, "You won't be able to fight for a couple weeks my king. It's better for you to rest in Soul Society." He lowered his head to Cole before he showed a proud and wild look in his eye to the others.
Cole thought for a minute, "Yoruichi, you will stay and perform Konso in Loguetown, when the island is clear, you can come back." He then put a hand on Grimmjow's head and added, "You'll give me a ride through the Dangai. Hopefully, the old man didn't give me more work before he retires."
Grimmjow lowered his body as Yoruichi pouted before jumping off. Grimmjow moved to let him on as he heard an excited tone and a disappointed tone, "Yes my king." Cole got on his back before opening the gate praying it wasn't time for that sweeper to come through.
