Chapter 2: Chapter 2 a cry for help, answered?
It was a rainy day in New York. Raindrops keep falling from the sky.
Even on this rainy day, the streets of New York was busy as ever. Many people of all kinds were walking on the road. Some have a specific destination. while some don't.
On this crowded road, no one noticed a young blue-haired boy walking aimlessly, scratching his neck.
The boy looks left and right with his blank eyes.
He looks like he needs help. But, sadly nobody comes forward to help him. some come to him to ask questions like who he is. where is he from? and where are his parents? But all look away as soon as they look at his emotionless eyes and his bloodied face.
This is what our society has come to. There was a time when, if someone asks for help people would come to help him, even if he is black, white or he looks like a creep. But, as time goes by, people start to change. They become smarter and more advanced. But, mostly they become more selfish and greedy.
Selfishness makes them only think about themselves. Selfish people don't even think about their family, more or less random people.
Greed is like a full to Selfishness. It makes an average person evil. They develop a want for something they do not need. which leads them to do many evil deeds. Which means they commit many sins.
We say the devil makes us do these sins. But the devil only gives us a path, but we are the ones who follow the path with our desire. Greed forces a normal person to become a killer or makes a great country commit mass genocide.
People have forgotten that a simple act of kindness can do a lot for a person in great need.
Kindness does not simply mean giving money, you can show kindness by just talking to someone, to comfort them when they are in need, trust me it helps a lot.
Besides that, the boy kept walking on the road. He looks like he hasn't eaten in days. His bones are almost coming out of his skin.
He looks out at the distance to see staff from a restaurant throwing away food in a dustbin.
*Grrrr* his stomach starts to ache. He looks at the
dustbin and his stomach. The hunger is clouding his mind. He is so hungry that he doesn't care where the food comes from. He just needs something to fill his stomach.
He slowly walks towards the dustbin. But, then a man comes towards the dustbin and picks it up.
The boy looks at the man across the road.
The man then proceeds to throw the waste in the
Garbage truck. Then he gets on the truck and goes away.
The poor boy just kept watching as his food was taken away from him.
He looks down and begins to walk away to an unknown destination. While walking he keeps thinking,' Why do they throw away good food? why don't they just give it to the poor? or those in need? why are people so selfish?'
As he walks he looks at the guy holding a camera while giving a homeless man a hundred dollars.
He was talking on his phone, how was helping this old man by giving him money. He kept on saying that he was doing a great job. The people who were watching his video were like, you are so kind, omg! The homeless man is so lucky,or I will donate more money to his channel. But, no one asks how the Old homeless man feels.
The guy then goes away while talking to his followers, not even looking at the road.
The boy comes towards the homeless man as he held the money in his hand and frowned.
The boy just looks at him. But then the man puts the money in front of the boy.
The boy wanted to ask him why he did it.
But the homeless man replied," You looked like you needed it more."
The boy was silent for a moment. But then he speaks for the first time in days," Thank you."
a simple word. But it had made the homeless man smile.
The boy picks up the dollar with two of his fingers and puts it in his pocket. ( he needs to have all five of his fingers disintegrate something or someone. , that's when he is trying to control his powers, let's say because he has the knowledge of the power from the MHA anime he can control it properly.)
The boy walks away from the place. A group of boys saw the boy taking the money.
They looked at each other and smirked. They began to follow the boy.
* sometime later*
The boy kept walking until he came near a shop. He was going the buy food from here. But, a hand held his mouth from an alley and dragged him in.
He sees a group of teens in jackets surrounding him.
They were four of them one of them was big. The big one held him by the throat. One of the boys came towards him and held up his hand. From his hand, a ball of fire appeared.
' mutants.' the boy thought.
The teen asked him to give them the money.
But, the small boy refused as it was the only means of his survival.
The teen became angered and put his hand on the boy's stomach. The activates his powers and burns the boy.
" Ahhhhhhh" screams the boy in pain.
But the teen did not stop.
The boy asks for help. He looks at the entrance to the alley to see, some people looking at him but then looking away.
"Please,... help me, somebody. please!!Ahhhh!" the boy bags for help. But no one listened to him.
Everybody just looked away.
Then we hear an unknown person speaking to us,
" if at that moment somebody help me, I would have turned out differently. I would have been something different. I bagged for 10 minutes. But no one came. At that moment I realised that this world is a hell and everybody living in it are demons. They only care for themself, they don't care if people suffer because of them. They only care it is good for them. At that moment all I wanted was for the whole world to burn. All the demons to die. That was all I wanted." as the voice says this. The boy looks at the teen who was burning him and squeezed his face. He starts to crumble into dust. His friends look at this in shock. But I did not give them any time as I touched the other two and like their friend, they also turned into dust. But I forgot the big guy.
The big guy punched me in the head from my backside. My head started to spin and was losing my conciseness.
As I was slowly losing my conciseness, I looked at the big guy as he was coming at me with his hand
held in a punching motion.
I kept thinking, 'So, this is the end... I don't want to die... please help me... somebody...please.'
I prayed for the last time. This time my prayers were answered, but not by God but by the devil.
The big guy gets stabbed with a black tentacle-like object and he falls brown on the floor, dead.
I look onwards to see a blue-skinned man in robes.
The walked towards me and reached out his hand.
I grabbed it, expecting him to disintegrate like the
others. But I was shocked to see that nothing happened to him.
I looked at him and asked him" Why did you save me?"
He replied calmly," Nobody came to save you, did they? It must have been so horrible. That's why you were searching for a helping hand."
Hearing him say this tears start to build up in my eyes. I ask him again," Who are you?"
" Call me sensei," he replied.
" what are you going to teach me?" I asked him.
" You will be a villain, and I will teach you... shigaraki." The man says as he gives me both a new name and a new purpose.
Yes, from now on I am no longer Michael. From now on I am shigaraki, the symbol of fear and I shall bring chaos to this world.
