"How did you do that?" The woman asked him as she walked to him happily.
"I just have the right knowledge." Wen said to her with a smile.
"I'm sorry for the way I talked. Truly." The woman said to him with an apologetic face.
"It is fine. I have a lot of knowledge about it so I am happy to help." Wen said to her with a smile.
"Then can you cure any disease?" The woman asked him eagerly.
"Well, I will have to actually see that person to know what to do." Wen said to her.
"Then can you come with me to the hospital. My uncle is very ill." The woman said to him with a smile.
"I would be happy to. But I still do not know your name." Wen said to her with the same smile on his face.
"Oh how could I forget. My name is Wang Mingyun of the Wang family. My cousin is the mayor of Nantong." The woman introduced herself with a smile.
"My name is Chen Wen. It is nice to make your acquaintance Ms. Wang." Wen said as he greeted her with a smile.
"She's part of the Wang family?" One employee said as murmurs started to spread amongst the people.
'Huh. So she's the cousin of the mayor huh. Good to know.' Wen thought to himself
"I think it would be better if we went out of this place don't you think Ms. Wang?" Wen asked her with a smile as he noticed the murmuring.
"Of course. Please wait outside, I just have to talk a bit with that man." Mingyun said to him with a smile.
"Of course." Wen said with a smile before he walked to the exit.
He then waited for Mingyun to come and she soon walked out of the door. He looked inside and saw the staff member sweating a lot as he was using a handkerchief.
'It looks like she chewed him out.' Wen thought to himself before he looked back at her.
"Shall we go Mr. Chen?" Mingyun asked him with a smile.
"Yes. I am ready." Wen said to her with a smile.
After that he entered her car, which is a very expensive one as it drove away from the place. A few minutes later another car came and Xiao Lin, now Xiao-Zhang Lin due to wanting to keep her family name, exited the car and walked to her company and entered it as she looked at her staff who were surprised to see her.
"I heard there was a problem here? What happened?" Lin asked her subordinates.
"A member from the Wang family had come here having some complaints about our cosmetic products. She was threatening to sue us for the pimples that she had gotten due to it." The earlier staff member who was trying to placate Mingyun said to her as he came forward.
"The Wang family? The same Wang Family that is connected to the mayor of Nantong?" Lin asked him shocked and appalled.
Her worry only grew when she saw the staff nodding his head to her.
The mayor is the most powerful and influential person in Nantong and has great authority. If something were to happen to displease them then her company will be in big trouble which she knew.
"Where is she now?" Lin asked him as she wanted to make a compromise before the problem blew out of proportion.
"It's... well, she left." The staff said to her.
"She left!? Why!? Did they go to complain to the Mayor!?" Lin asked him in worry and got a bit agitated.
"No, that's not it. Someone had come and cured the pimples on her face. She was happy about it and left with the man." The staff told her to calm down his boss.
'She also chewed me out but I don't want to talk about it.' The man thought to himself as he sighed.
"Really? Who are they? I need to give them my thanks for helping my company." Lin said surprised as she inquired.
"Well, it's... a bit difficult." The staff member said a bit hesitantly.
"What do you mean? Who is the man who helped her?" Lin asked him with a raised eyebrow.
"It was your ex-husband, Chen Wen." The man said to her as he gulped.
"What?!" Lin shouted in shock when she heard him.
"I know you're shocked ma'am. We were too. We never expected that he would be able to actually do it." The man said to her at her reaction.
"It's simply impossible for him to do that or be here. Are you sure it was him or are you just messing with me?!" Lin said angrily as he looked at her subordinate.
"I am not ma'am. Please, I can show you in the security footage." The man said to her fearfully.
Then he went to the counter and pulled the security footage at the camera. Lin watched the scene unfold in front of her eyes as her eyes widened when she saw it.
'It, it's him. His face is the same and his manner of talking as well. But that's impossible, he should be dead. So how is he here? He couldn't have been brought back to life... right?' Lin thought to herself in shock and confusion as she looked at the screen.
She watched the screen some more times before she was certain that it is really her ex-husband. She was beyond shocked when she saw him alive and acting like nothing happened. But she also noticed another thing when she saw him.
'He... looks so much happier in this. I've never seen him smiling this happily before.' Lin thought to herself as she looked at the video.
That was then another thought came to her mind. Her training in cultivation of her Chi has been going for a year and she has gotten better at it than before.
'Could a powerful cultivator have brought him back to life? But why would...' Lin thought to herself in confusion as she looked at the screen.
