The MC was nerfed to the extreme at the start because the author doesn’t understand what Oni or Merfolk are lol and also the MC doesn’t have the sea as a weakness for his devil fruit lol so you know how this story is going to go…. I recommend to not waste your time

When I started I was very impressed by how the MC doesn’t just make stupid decisions and actually thinks things trough.
Using AI to write = skip 😔 I can tell the author is talented, not sure if he’s using it to boost word count or something but it’s disappointing
really surprisedby this gim fanfici was completely immersed in reading to the limit of finishing 40 chapter in one day🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's a great One Piece fanfiction!! I love it!!! 😍😍 It have great plot/storyline and great english/translation.. The grammar is good too.. I like that MC/Ryuma not too op.. Although he got a wish, but he still need to train to get strong.. He's background is interesting (half oni, half merfolk), it will make him stronger than normal human.. His devil fruit is good too, "More-More Fruit" have great potential.. I like he found a partner/best friend in Rio.. It's funny to see they interaction, especially Rio scene.. If he will have a romance, I hope it was Yamato.. It will be interesting to see they together.. I don't mind harem too, if that was your choice author san.. Can't wait to see who else will be join his pirate group?? I hope he recruit Nojiko, Kaya, Carina, Baby 5, Law, Bepo, Sugar, Monet 😁😁 Keep up the great work author san 😁👍😍😍
The truth is that the first chapter is not the best. but I continued reading the following chapters and they are quite good, so far the story and the protagonist have a good development. Taking out the first chapter, this fic is recommended.

In general, your story is not bad, even so, both the personality of the protagonist and his reactions remind me a lot of a Chinese fanfic that I didn't like. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Not a bad story, but the heavily usage of chat GPT to add more words makes the novel very hard and boring to read...you are a writer bro, just write, idk why are so many "authors" afraid of writing...
