The Assassins King’s End

"Looks like today will be the day the King of the Hundred Swords dies."

High Priest Miao of the Blood Moon Church laughed loudly at Jiang Kun who was now covered in wounds all over his body. Hua Sha wanted to be happy too but his left hand was seriously injured from Jiang Kun's attack, causing him to stare at Jiang Kun with hatred.

Jiang Kun took a deep breath, the two swords he formed with his internal energy started to become transparent because he had trouble concentrating. Jiang Kun had stopped the bleeding from his wounds using internal energy but he still lost too much blood.

"To think I would end up here…" Fresh blood flowed at the edges of Jiang Kun's mouth, he was still smiling broadly despite his unfavorable condition, Jiang Kun looked in one direction, "And all of this happened when I found someone who might make the Valley of a Hundred Swords the greatest sect…"

Jiang Kun intended to look towards where Xiao Chen might be, but instead he saw hope.

Hua Sha's expression under the mask became ugly while Miao had stopped laughing because both of them had also seen what Jiang Kun had been looking at.

"Brother Jiang hold on!"

Sumei from Peach Blossom Mountain galloped forward with her iron staff towards Jiang Kun, Fanzheng from the Truth Light Temple following behind her. The two of them had strength that matched Jiang Kun's and their condition was still excellent compared to Hua Sha's and Miao's.

Miao cursed in annoyance, she just had the upper hand and was sure that she would kill Jiang Kun today but the situation suddenly reversed. Hua Sha also realized how dangerous the two's situation was now.

When Hua Sha was about to find a solution with Miao, the woman suddenly tapped his shoulder. Miao's action sent Hua Sha flying towards Jiang Kun.

"What are you doing?!" Hua Sha couldn't help but scream loudly, he didn't expect to be attacked by Miao from behind at all.

"Hold them for me! I will avenge you one day!" Miao said so as she ran fast to leave the place.

Miao used all her remaining inner strength to move faster than the wind. Hua Sha wanted to chase and kill him but now he was stuck with Jiang Kun.

Jiang Kun actually wanted to kill Hua Sha and Miao but he realized that his condition was not possible even though help had come, so Jiang Kun just made sure Hua Sha couldn't escape death.

Basically Hua Sha wasn't good at open combat like this, besides he was in a state of injury though not as badly as Jiang Kun's. Being surrounded by three royal warriors from various sides made Hua Sha helpless.

"Today the Flower of Sin organization perished… Hahahaha…" Hua Sha realized that he couldn't survive, he laughed heartily when he felt exhausted after fighting three on one for a while.

Jiang Kun used the psychic sword to stab Hua Sha in the heart, taking his life away.

"One day… revenge…" Hua Sha's last words were barely audible as his mouth was filled with blood.

"What revenge? Your death today is the result of the crimes you and your organization have committed." Jiang Kun snorted in annoyance, he realized that Hua Sha couldn't hear him anymore but Jiang Kun burst out in anger.

Fanzheng recited a prayer in front of Hua Sha's corpse while Sumei took out a pink pill and gave it to Jiang Kun.

"Thank you sister Sumei, the Lotus Blossom Pill is as great as they say." Jiang Kun felt better after taking the pill Sumei gave him, it had high healing properties so Jiang Kun guessed it was Peach Blossom Mountain's specialty pill, the Lotus Blossom Pill.

"No need to hesitate, sorry we came late." Sumei learns that Jiang Kun would have almost lost his life if he and Fanzheng had arrived a little later.

"You guys came at the right time, in fact I'm still alive right?" Jiang Kun smiled broadly then asked about the Han Emperor, he was sure that Sumei and Fanzheng must have searched for the Emperor first and ensured his safety.

"Brother Wushang is keeping Your Majesty safe, you don't need to worry." Sumei explained the situation of the palace they saw.

Fanzheng added members from the Truth Light Temple, Single Sword Sect and Peach Blossom Mountain were on their way to the Palace, they would all help stop this attack.

"I didn't expect Prince Feng to be so ambitious that he lost his mind…" Jiang Kun let out a long breath.

Gaining the support of a black sect to become Emperor is one thing but moving that group to rule the palace is a coup d'état.

"All this can't be tolerated, if Prince Feng doesn't get punished then Luoyang's future will be threatened." Jiang Kun looked to Fanzheng and Sumei for their opinion and support.

So far the main reason why Emperor Han didn't stop or punish Prince Feng was due to the existence of The Five Color Flag behind Prince Feng. If the three strongest factions of the white sect were to support the Han Emperor then punishing Yin Feng would not be a problem.

Sumei explained herself, Fanzheng and Wushang had come to an agreement to support the Han Emperor in judging Prince Feng. After tonight's events, if the three groups still chose to remain silent then an even bigger problem might arise.

If the Han Emperor were to be killed in this event, there would be great turmoil within the Han Empire, not only the government and citizens but it would impact the martial world as well.

Hearing that the three groups were willing to step in to settle this matter made Jiang Kun breathe a sigh of relief. As the atmosphere became calmer, Jiang Kun just remembered something and was intending to go somewhere.

"Brother Jiang, your injuries haven't healed and you've lost a lot of blood." Sumei stopped Jiang Kun.

"Sister Sumei, Chen'er may be in danger. I have to save him!"

Jiang Kun only remembered Xiao Chen when things were more under control. The last news about him, Xiao Chen was being surrounded by countless Sin Flower killers in order to save Yin Xuehua.

"Chen'er? Ah, the fiancé of Elder Lin's granddaughter? You don't need to worry, he's fine." Sumei comforts Jiang Kun, he explains that Xiao Chen is being protected by a mysterious royal warrior. "Who exactly is this Chen'er? It seems his background is unusual…"

Jiang Kun was silent, he himself did not know where a warrior king who protected Xiao Chen came from but just like Sumei, Jiang Kun also felt that Xiao Chen had a special background. It's just that so far Xiao Chen had seemed loyal and defended his sect so Jiang Kun kept quiet.

"If someone already takes care of it then it's better." Jiang Kun didn't answer Sumei but instead sat down to recover while Sumei accompanied Fanzheng to check on the Crown Prince's condition.
