Ernest spoke honestly for the first time in a while. Normally, he would brush it off to protect Hubert's name, and consequently, the Zamek family name. But this time, he felt like he could be honest with her and she wouldn't judge him for it.

He thought that the young lady would at least stop the conversation now that Ernest had expressed his negative view of Hubert. He believed that his answer was more than enough to quench her thirst, but he couldn't be more wrong.
