That night Ellie had trouble sleeping. Even after her usual cold night shower, sleep refused to show up until the early hours of the morning.

Zuri's words and warnings, which she was still trying to process continued playing over and over again as if someone had put it on repeat.

And the fact that he did not tell her what she was supposed to do bothered her even more.

Why did he just disappear as if he had not put someone's mind into a state of extreme confusion? She wished she could see him so he could complete what he started. However, that wish didn't come through even up till the time when she was finally able to sleep, which was three hours before dawn.

As if her troubles were not enough, she arrived at the main palace the next day to meet an unexpected and disturbing sight.
