Chapter 105: Make you comfortable

"Why are you here?" Ellie heard Storm ask in a cool voice, but that only made her jump to the conclusion that he didn't want her there at that time.

Ellie swallowed. "I'm here to clean, Master. But if it's not a good time I'll just leave and return later." She answered, surprising herself with how stable her voice remained when she spoke even though she expected some shaking or stuttering.

Silence enveloped them as Storm fixed his eyes on her bruised cheek. Seeing those ugly marks on her beautiful face roused anger inside of him that he would kill Asaph all over again if it were possible.

Suddenly, he stood up from the chair, consequently breaking the contact between Amanda's hands and his shoulder.

But with that one move, Ellie's heart jumped in fright and questions flew rapidly across her mind. Did she say something wrong? Why did he stand up like that? Was he upset? But his face doesn't show it. Or was there another announcement she missed?
