Chapter 83: Let her pass

A knock resonated across Enrique's room, making him pause his action of buttoning up his shirt and looking at the door with a frown instead. He walked up to the door and opened it only for his frown to turn into confusion when he found Mary standing there.

"Good morning, Enrique." Mary greeted him with a smile.

"Is everything alright? You still have an hour of sleep. Why are you up now?" He probed, concern evident in his voice. He opened the door further and stepped aside while gesturing for her to enter.

"Are you aware that Ellie came back?" Mary asked, walking into the room so he could shut the door. 

"What do you mean she is back?" Enrique pried.

"She is back here. She returned last night after dinner, and is sleeping on her bed as we speak. You didn't know?"

"No. I'm not aware." Enrique admitted. "Thanks for letting me know. Don't let her go for the general breakfast. Your breakfasts will be brought to your room."
