Chapter 77: Blue-eyed monster

"Wasn't that what you wanted? A selfless woman with lots of love in her heart to give. Someone like Lydia. Wasn't that what attracted you to her in the first instance?" Zuri continued walking until he exited the bathroom and proceeded to sit on the sofa. 

"That was what I wanted. But Ellie is not like Lydia. Lydia loved me first, despite having love for her family. Ellie's love is not directed at me. It is directed to her brother, and I can't compete with that." Storm also walked out of the bathroom.

"You are not supposed to compete with her brother. You are to carve your name and create your own space in her heart. Goodness! Must I teach you everything?"

"I would say yes, but unfortunately, I don't want to learn about it anymore. I'm not interested in wooing a human. I'm done." 

Zuri stared intently at him for a while in silence, then let out a sigh. "If you change your mind, you know where to find me." He said, standing up and walking toward the desk.
