Chapter 74: Happy tears

Storm led her to his room, grabbed a bunch of keys, and then led her through a number of unfamiliar hallways.

Although he was moving quite fast, Ellie didn't utter a word of protest. She did her best to keep up, keeping her eyes and ears open for any sound that indicated her brother was somewhere around all the places they passed.

But they soon arrived at a parking lot, watering down her hope as well as raising more questions in her mind.

Storm let her hand go and approached one of the cars. He unlocked it, climbed in, started it, and drove out, and brought it to a stop right beside her.

"Get in." He ordered from inside, opening the door for her, and Ellie hesitated for a short moment before she climbed into the car.

She wanted to ask questions, but the atmosphere was too tense even for her. Knowing her actions might be responsible for his mood, she decided to keep her questions within her for the meantime.
