Chapter 45: Eventually

Ellie woke up to the sound of intense argument and someone talking at the top of her voice. She blinked to clear her vision, then shifted her gaze from the ceiling to the direction the argument was blazing from. 

Displeasure registered on her face when she saw Mary's, Layla's and Ginger's familiar faces, indicating that she was back in the royal house. Without a word spoken, or paying any attention to what the trio were arguing about, Ellie moved her gaze back to the ceiling. Memories from last night began to filter into her mind, and with them came the tears trailing down the outer corner of her eyes down to her ears.
