Adah's voice dripped with a sultriness the likes of which would have affected any lesser man. However, it just so happened Damian fell out of such category.
A smile stretched his lips, a smile that appeared harmless, and yet, when Adah saw it, her body couldn't help but shiver.
That smile, it appeared almost predatory.
"Really? You don't really mind, is what you are saying, right?" Damian questioned, his voice sounding especially innocent, as though he was a young naive boy asking for his parents' permission to play games.
For some reasons, Adah felt as though she was treading into a trap, a nearly imperceivable ensnarement that was ironically obvious, and yet, she chose to bite the bullet.
"Yea?" She answered, uncertainty laced underneath her tone.
Seeing this, Damian nodded vigorously before his smile became pronounced.
"Is that so? Then don't regret your words."
Damian said and smiled, a mirthful smile.
