"Frey Frey. Look at that."
Freyjadour, the prince of the Queendom of Falena, looks at where his aunt points and sees a familiar face sitting inside a room not too far away from him and his family.
"Oh! It is Gerrald."
"Gerrald? Who is that, dear?"
Freyjadour looks at his mother, a beautiful woman with silver hair and blue eyes. She releases an aura of royalty and dignity. She is the queen of the Falena Queendom and the holder of the Sun Rune, the most destructive among the True Rune, just above the Punishment Rune. Her name is Arshtat Falena.
It is not the most powerful but the most destructive. Its full power can make sure the entire planet turns into a desolate land. As long as the other true rune does not interfere and the user of this rune can bear the full power of this rune, Sun Rune can doom a planet to starvation by cursing the entire land infertile and making sure the sun is even hotter than in the hottest desert.
"He is someone who uses the barrack as a sparring place, Mother."
"Oh? Is he any good?"
Ferid Egan, the husband of Arshtat and the current Lord Commander (Because there is no King in Falena) of the Queendom. He is the strongest fighter in the entire queendom. His swordsmanship is known throughout the continent and even the neighboring one.
"He is decent, Lord Commander."
Georg, the second strongest Swordsman, answers Ferid's question.
"However, his ability to copy and improve the opponent's fighting style makes him a formidable opponent. Not only that, the more he fights, the stronger he gets."
"Oh? Really? Where is he coming from?"
Freyjadour is the one answering this question.
"He is coming from the Northern Continent, Father."
"Oh! Which part of the continent?"
"He said that he is coming from the City-State of Jowston, from a city called Muse."
"Oh~ Muse, huh? They are pacifist people, but they are a beast when they fight. I miss that place. While this place is the most beautiful place I've ever visited, the City-State of Jowston comes close in the second."
Freyjadour looks at his father and starts to imagine the place. Falena is the only place he ever goes, and he wants to see what it feels like to explore the world.
"Father! You never told me that you visited the Northern Continent before!"
The prince looks to the side and sees her sister and the future Queen of Falena pouting at the thought of her father not telling him about his adventure to her.
"Bwahahahaha! I have never told you about my adventure in the North, huh? Well, it was when I first met Georg over there. I join a mercenary group when I go adventuring in that place. I met him on the battlefield. We are an ally attacking a group of monsters that run havoc in the eastern part of the City-State of Jowston."
Ferid grins a little as he remembers his past adventure.
"We are two hundred men strong against seven hundred monsters with varied strength. We fight for three hours in front of a cave while the monster is pouring out of it. A hundred good men died in that battle, but we managed to kill all the monsters and destroy their nests. After that battle, Georg and I became friends. We continued being friends for about a year before I needed to return to the South. However, before I return, I invite him to join me; you already know the rest. He gets into the knight program, beats anyone who tries to take the Queen's Knights (The bodyguard of the Queen), and gets to this rank in under a month."
Georg looks away with a hint of redness on his cheek as the Prince and the Crown Princess praise him.
"Fufufufu~ As expected from our Georg. You need to tell us some of your adventures, Georg."
While the Royal Family has fun with each other, Gerrald and Nikea decide to get out of the arena to buy more food for them. The next fight is the fight between two fighters that Gerrald did not know and his company phone did not recognize. Because of this, he decided to go out and buy more warm food.
The food given by the servant in the arena is great, but he wants some warm food because the food served here is cold or, worse, lukewarm. Because of this, he and Nikea decide to buy some food to take them back to the arena.
While they are walking through the street of Stormfist, Gerrald, and Nikea encounter a young woman and her leopard.
Gerrald eyes lit up when he saw one of his targets, and Nikea noticed it.
"Boss, do you know them?"
"No. However, I know Leopard is not a real animal but a cursed human that turned into an animal."
Gerrald knows about the two of them from his previous life. He knows that Norma and Ersnt (the Leopard) travel together to see if they can find anyone who can cure Ernst's curse. However, with the knowledge of Chrodechild, the template Gerrald bought, he knows what kind of curse Ernst has.
"Excuse me."
Gerrald snaps from my thoughts when I see Norma and Ernst walk toward him with hopeful expressions.
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry for eavesdropping, but you said that you know about the Ersnt curse?"
I look at the Leopard for a second time before nodding.
"Yes. I know that curse. It is called the Curse of the Wild."
That is something that Chrodechild encounters in the past and helps someone take care of this curse.
"It is not a difficult curse to cure, but it will take a long time to do so, a year or so. Less if we can find the right ingredient for the potion."
And I'm not lying. He can gather enough points to buy the [Polymorph Defense] or ingredients to make potions for Ernst to drink daily until the curse is gone.
"Really? Can you cure Ernst?"
Norma looks at Gerrald with pleading eyes.
"Yes. It will take some time, but he can be cured."
"Then! Can you help us?! We will pay you in the future!"
Gerrald looks at them for a few seconds before smiling slightly.
"Sure. I will help you."
They did not know that Gerrald looked at them as a free point.
